  • Fun Camping Experience Had By All - Including the Dog

"We rented the cabin for a long-weekend getaway with our golden retriever pup. We had an absolutely wonderful time - by the first night we were already talking about what we'd do the "next time" we stay! The cabin was perfect - we had fun using the coffee percolator for the first time, and enjoyed tasty sausages, hot dogs, and peppers on the grill. The location was just pristine - we spent most of the time outside reading on the Adirondack chairs by the water, fishing off the dock, and canoeing around the lake. Our pup enjoyed swimming in the water, listening to the loons, and snoozing by the campfire. We went to Quoddy Head on Saturday - not that far of a drive and we'd definitely recommend the loop hike to anyone who wants to see quintessential Maine without the crowds. Thank you again - we had a such a great experience and we can't wait to come back!"

  • PERFECT spot!

"I'm afraid to say anything too kind for fear of the secret getting out! Seacliff and Downeast have everything you might need or want for your stay. Both were spotless upon arrival. The views are great, and the location is fantastic for adventures during the day (Jasper Beach, Roques Bluff, Cutler trails, Machias, Eastport, Lubec, etc.). Highly recommended."

  • Charming farmhouse close to the water

"Beautifully restored and decorated farmhouse that had everything we could have wanted. It is close to many great activities in down east Maine and New Brunswick, yet private. We enjoyed cooking dinners in the big kitchen and spending peaceful evening on the front porch. It was nice having two kayaks available to venture out on the water. The amount of information and suggestions provided by Tom was a great asset. We used the printed information or brochures in the house nearly everyday of our stay."
