  • Quaint beach cottage

"We loved the quaint beachfront cottage and used it as our "base camp" as we traveled the Down East Maine coast. The sunrises and sunsets were beautiful as was the beach area. It was very nice to be able to cook our own meals and pack a lunch for our daily travels. The owner communicated with us very quickly and was a pleasure to speak with. A highlight was laying in the large yard looking up at the stars, seeing shooting stars and the Milky Way! A beautiful, quiet area. We are planning to rerun next spring."

  • Great location, with lots of room

"Lots of room for our large family, all the amenities and more! Very clean and maintained. We spent most of our time on the large deck , cooking lobsters , 20 to be exact. Watching Lobster fisherman come and go in the harbor is a morning ritual for us , on the deck. Corea has been a special place for our family, many memories and friends. Would recommend this to family and friends, and I have."

  • Great property for family vacation

"Homey cottage feel to this property. Well supplied with cooking equipment. Washer and dryer very convenient. We loved our stay in Millbridge and enjoyed trips with Robertson Sea tours (the whale watch was fabulous) and outings to Roque Bluffs, Campobello, Jasper Beach and Mt. Desert Island (about 1 1/4 hour to Bar Harbor). Convenient well supplied grocery store in Millbridge and the Mexican take out Vazquez is awesome! There's a charcoal grill and charcoal and lighter fluid and we cooked out several nights (as well as cooking a lobster dinner using the provided lobster pot). The view is absolutely wonderful and we enjoyed eating our meals and watching lobster boats going out. The living room furniture is comfortable but there isn't enough chair space if you have more than 6 people. It would really be a pinch to have 8-10 people in this property. This property would work well for a family vacation but be aware that the one "bedroom" is actually two twin beds (on the floor) in the loft of the house. No door to that area. The master bedroom also has the bed on the floor (might be an issue for older folks) and a low ceilling (too low for my 6'5" husband!) There is a twin bed bedroom on the main floor (2 twin beds on bedframes) and a bath (with shower) on both the upper and main floors. The fourth bedroom is a bit odd. It's off the garage in the basement. It's got a queen sized bed (on a bedframe). We couldn't figure out how to use the TV in the TV room in the basement (maybe some instructions are needed?) Overall we had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again. Thanks!"

  • Wonderful cabin in a lovely Maine seacoast village

"The vacation was relaxing and enjoyable due to the cabin's serene location and the cabin's extensive amenities. The cabin was extremely clean and comfortable. There was essentially nothing that my wife and I needed in addition to what the owners supplied. We rode bikes around the area and kayaked in nearby Jones Pond although sea kayaking is close by. Fresh lobsters are easily purchased at the Lobster Co-Op or at the nearby restaurant. Both are within walking distance. We definitely plan to return."
