"STOP! "Don't ya move a 'goldarned' inch", as the old Maine story goes from Marshall Dodge. This is the place you have been looking for. My wife walked through on our arrival and out onto the deck and said, "This is just as it was described". I certainly agreed and breathed a huge sigh of relief. This was the 1st week of a 3 in Maine for our 50th wedding anniversary. The second 2 weeks to be in the Belgrade Lakes at another of Scott's properties. The cottage has been expertly renovated and decorated by Scott for your stay. The amenities are as described. The kitchen will accomodate all your culinary needs. We chose the loft bedroom for it's view and coziness. If it gets foggy, you will not care!"

  • Fantastic week

"You can't beat the views here!! It has the feel of a ship, open and airy, but spotless and comfortable with modern, high end touches and appliances with a fantastic hot tub to boot. The cove is very quiet and beautiful. A canoe ride around the cove revealed a eagle nest, lobster boats, birds and beautiful sailboats. The owner lives nearby and was very friendly and helpful....highly recommend!!"

  • Best Vacation ever!

"This is our 5th time here and it is always Heaven for 2 weeks, quiet mornings with coffee watching the ocean and lobster boats from the living room and quiet walks to Pemaquid Light House. Even in the fog and rain it is the best vacation ever. The renovated kitchen was nothing less than gourmet and so beautiful. We cooked in every night and it was a joy. Everything was spotless and so elegant. We always feel so fortunate that you allow us to share your home for 4 weeks out of the year. It is so much more than a "rental". It's a home at Pemaquid Point. See you in October...we can't wait. Barbara and Tom Furlong"

  • Just as Pictured!

"My husband and I spent a week in August here and absolutely loved it. The house is as bright, immaculate, and beautifully decorated as in the pictures, and the views really are that good. The neighborhood is very walkable and charming and the neighbors are friendly. We rented kayaks for the week from someone just down the street and were able to beach them in the cove at the end of the neighborhood, about a 5 minute walk from the house-- very convenient. We bought some art from another neighbor who has a stunning studio in her home. The only caveat is that the water is not drinkable and you must bring your own-- they provided a gallon which for us was not enough but we didn't re-stock early enough so go ahead and bring more than you think you need! Also, if you are a person who wants long showers or baths, this is not the place for you. Only a stand-up shower that isn't designed to run for a long period of time (water well). Our hosts were helpful, responsive, and hospitable. They even shared some of their fresh-caught Maine lobsters and showed us how to prepare them! This was one of our best vacations and we hope to return."
