  • 134 Church Street Rental In Belfast, Maine Is Absolutely First Rate!

"We thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful apartment! It is a great base to use while exploring Coastal Maine. CLEAN! COMFORTABLE! QUIET! CONVENIENT! A newly remodeled, well-appointed in town apartment that is just three short blocks from the city harbor. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay in Belfast. The bedrooms are comfortably furnished, the kitchen is conveniently stocked with everything you need for dining “at home”, there is comfortable furniture in the living room, and you have off-street parking for your vehicle. The apartment is just steps away from coffee shops, restaurants, shopping and the enjoyable and scenic walk around the city's harbor and through the Front Street shipyard. Brent and Emily are very gracious hosts, and Brent is a wealth of helpful knowledge about Belfast and the surrounding communities – as a life long resident of this area he directed us to some great places to eat and interesting locations to visit. This is definitely a Two-Thumbs-Up vacation home! We WILL be coming back to this apartment on our next visit to Maine!"

  • A cute, serene, and spacious home base

"Our family of 2 plus a baby thoroughly enjoyed a two-month stay in the cottage this summer. The cottage is set peacefully at the end of a private driveway and surrounded by a well-kept lawn and lovely tall woods that sway in the breezes. On hot summer days we dunked our baby in the little stream a few yards through the woods behind the cottage. And on some uncommonly chilly summer days we lit a fire in the wood stove and stayed cozy inside! The owners are always friendly and helpful, happy to offer any local tips or assistance (and they shared fresh herbs and vegetables from their garden!) yet very respectful of privacy. The cottage shares a driveway with the main house so it feels private and quiet, but not too secluded. We cook a lot and appreciated that the kitchen and outdoor grill were well-equipped. We liked the open layout of the downstairs kitchen/dining/living area, and the enclosed sun porch is a nice bonus space for hanging out and peeking at the wild turkeys and rabbits that occasionally scamper through the yard. The queen-bedroom had more than enough space for our travel crib and large luggage, with room to spare. The cottage makes a perfect base for exploring the midcoast region and beyond, to places like the Blue Hill peninsula and Acadia. Belfast is the nearest town, less than 10 minutes north, and it's a cool one, with lots of amenities. A little cove off of Pitcher Pond is a few minutes' walk from the cottage and provides a beautiful place to take the owners' canoe for a paddle. We also enjoyed plenty of nearby swim spots: Lincolnville Beach, Knight's Pond in Northport, Norton's Pond in Lincolnville, and Balance Rock on Lake Megunticook. There's even a lovely organic farmstand across Route 52, maybe half a mile walk from the cottage. This is a great place to hang your hat!"

  • Perfect getaway cottage

"My husband and I spent 4 nights at this cottage and it was perfect. Clean, well furnished and extremely comfortable--we enjoyed the views of the bay and the location of the cottage. We were 30 minutes from great hiking in Camden Hills State Park and 1.5 hours from Acadia. It made for the perfect location and Belfast was a lovely town. Great restaurants and shops in Belfast. Ann was very helpful and the cottage was perfect. Would recommend to anyone looking to take in the beauty of Maine!"

  • Perfect in every way!

"We have been renting vacation homes online for many years and I believe Rose Bluff is now our favorite. Charming, sparkling clean and well appointed. And the view! Waking up to the water every day was amazing. The location of the cottage is great. Tucked away in the quiet Bayside community, yet still convenient to so many wonderful mid-coast Maine areas. So glad we found this cottage. What a gem!"
