  • A Perfect Place to Stay

"Our family had an amazing week at Linekin Chapel. The house was immaculate and so well-appointed that it felt more like staying at a friend’s house than a rental. Everything we needed was there, and as others have mentioned, it was really welcoming to arrive to a fruit and cheese plate and bottle of wine! We absolutely loved the house and the area. We picked wild blueberries for our breakfasts and we ate dinner outside on the deck most nights. Half-way through the week a doe and two spotted fawns came within a hundred feet of the deck while we were eating. The chapel is a special place to stay and the Boothbay area is wonderful."

  • Perfect getaway!!

"We loved this place! It had everything our dogs and we needed to enjoy the beautiful Booth Bay Area. Jamie was a wonderful host, and was always easy-to-reach. We will be back to stay at his lovely cabin!"

  • Perfect family vacation, walked into town everyday

"An adorable cottage with an amazing location!! Stayed here with our 3 year old daughter and 2 month old son. Walked the beach across the street during low tide, spent time everyday at the park across the street and walked into town everyday for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just an ice cream. Karen and her husband are extremely friendly. Started the vacation off with Karen handing me a glass of prosecco when meeting up with her to get the keys at their art gallery in town. We came the week of the 4th, we walked to the church lawn about a 1/4 mile from the house to watch the fireworks across the harbor. In the future I'd like to stay during windjammer week which was the week before. Looks like they have a lot of activities that would have been fun. Could not say enough good things about this cottage and the location!"

  • Great House and Property in a wonderful setting!

"Our second vacation in your lovely Maine home was even better than the one last year -- except that we should have stayed longer! There are so many things to do nearby that it was hard to fit them all into two weeks. We also enjoy just relaxing on the large deck, gazing out at the water and the birds or watching the full moon rise over the river. Having the Botanical Gardens within a mile is great - we enjoy the gardens as well as the kayak trips that are run from their location. Porters Preserve, Gregory Preserve and Oven Mouth are our favorite hiking areas nearby. My husband loves bicycling down River Road and over to Southport and we both like to drive down to enjoy lunch or dinner overlooking Townsend Gut at Robinson's Wharf. We entertained friends at your house this summer - both for a barbeque and a lobster dinner. Purchased the lobsters at nearby Trevett Store. Your kitchen is so well equipped, entertaining was a pleasure. We also enjoy the huge and interesting selection of books that fill your house. We are looking forward to another, longer, stay next summer."
