  • Perfect Family Retreat!

"I wanted to take a moment to share with you how very much pleased we were with our stay at your 360 Hideaway Property. From our first contact with Veronika, she was very helpful, thoughtful and concerned about our family’s needs. It was clear that she wanted to make sure that our stay was special. She stayed in touch either by phone or e-mail and always responded very quickly. When we arrived in Port Clyde, we appreciated that Veronika was there to greet us, introduce us to Ferry Captain Dennis and Ray Ann. We were also impressed that she personally took us to the Home to make sure that we were aware of all of the amenities and introduce us to our Chef, Mike. The home itself is absolutely gorgeous! Well thought out, spacious, extremely clean and manicured inside and out. The fireplace and spiral staircase to the 360 lookout is stunning! Attention to detail was displayed from the appliances, furniture, bedding, bathroom towels, all the way through to the LL Bean delightful soap products. The food and preparation was “over the top !” Our Family also enjoyed all of the puzzles and indoor and outdoor games. Never once did our family watch any television nor were we troubled with any outside negative news. It was truly a get-a-way! Please share our extreme satisfaction with Mike, Dennis and Ray Ann. They all were sincere, kind, helpful and a pleasure to get to know. We hope to visit again in the future!"

  • Wonderful!

"This little house was just what we needed - cozy, clean and well maintained. The kitchen has everything you need, with starter supplies down to salt and pepper. Also toiletries and a hair dryer! Watching the cove change with the tide was both peaceful and entertaining. Boothbay Harbor is a central location for many side trips along the coast. Wonderful!!"

  • Quiet Cottage!! The perfect Maine getaway!!

"My family thoroughly enjoyed this rental cottage on the water. It is centrally located to many coastal towns for sightseeing. We ventured down to Booth Bay and all the way up to Camden. It is close to the Owls Head Museum (a must see) and you can take the boat out to Monhegan Island for the day from Port Clyde. After each busy day, it was great to come home to the peace and quiet of Tamarack cottage. If you need some groceries....or a good pizza, the general store is only 5 minutes from the cottage. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. A perfect vacation!!"

  • Very quaint and peaceful

"We just returned from our visit last week and our vacation was wonderful. The house is tucked away on a private drive with no other neighbors visible from the house. The home itself is very cute and the view from the covered porch is spectacular. Some of the flowers were still in bloom outside which was nice to look out the windows and see. I can imagine the flowers would have been gorgeous earlier in the season. The kitchen was well stocked and the homeowner was very responsive to any questions we had. Our family really enjoyed watching the tide come in and go out so it was almost as if the view changed throughout the day. We were so busy sightseeing around the area that we didn't get to use the kayaks but appreciated they were there if we had chosen to. Our son had a wonderful time running around the back yard so it was nice he had a semi flat area to play. The only thing I would say is if you have toddlers or other small children, be careful on the portion of the deck that is not screened. The railings had very large gaps that a curious child could fall right through so we had to keep our son from going onto that portion of the deck for the most part. We also had to move a few breakable decorations out of reach from our son when we first arrived but that was not a big deal. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and I would highly recommend this home if you are looking for a secluded location. We did spend quite a bit of time driving to and from the other areas of the coast such as Rockland, Camden, Port Clyde, and Boothbay Harbor due to where the house is situated on the inlet."
