  • Perfect for our family

"This home was perfect for our family of 6. We had plenty of room for the kids to play in the large family room and yard. The kitchen was a good size and the wrap around porch was a great place for meals and coffee. The location is great. Right across the street from the harbor and a short walk to many things like Back Cove, a local bake shop, ice cream and small store. Short drive to beach and lighthouse. Its in a low traffic area so I felt safe walking on the road with my kids or riding bikes. The kids enjoyed looking for crabs in the harbor at low tide. You can launch kayaks or boats right across the street. The locals we came across were very friendly. The home owner is friendly and accommodating. Very easy to work with and always got back to me right away when I had questions. We will be back!"

  • Charming and Peaceful Escape

"We so enjoyed our recent stay in this thoughtfully appointed and beautiful antique farmhouse, so we had to write and share our thanks. We slept late in comfortable bedding, enjoyed wonderful breakfasts cooked in cast iron pans and served on hand thrown pottery, and showered in the sun in the wonderful outdoor shower. The nearby river was a great swimming spot for our pampered pooches, and there was plenty to see and do here in Andrew Wyeth summer vacation country, and within a half hour drive of the house: antiquing, a celebrated twice-winning James Beard award winning chef in nearby Rockland at Primo, sailing a windjammer in Camden. Thanks for a very special and memorable family vacation."

  • Great location

"This is exactly what you want when you go to Maine. Great location at the end of a dirt road so it was very private (we brought our dogs and they loved the yard and we felt safe with them being able to run). Wallace's market is close by for the essentials and an awesome lobster roll. You can be at the docks getting super fresh lobster within minutes. We were really relaxed and thought the house had great amenities, like the kayaks, grills and board games. The deck was fantastic and we spent a lot of time on it just enjoying the great view to the cove"

  • Best Vacation ever!

"This is our 5th time here and it is always Heaven for 2 weeks, quiet mornings with coffee watching the ocean and lobster boats from the living room and quiet walks to Pemaquid Light House. Even in the fog and rain it is the best vacation ever. The renovated kitchen was nothing less than gourmet and so beautiful. We cooked in every night and it was a joy. Everything was spotless and so elegant. We always feel so fortunate that you allow us to share your home for 4 weeks out of the year. It is so much more than a "rental". It's a home at Pemaquid Point. See you in October...we can't wait. Barbara and Tom Furlong"
