  • Quiet outdoor spaces with fantastic views

"The home is just as it appears. Sitting outside on the deck, the silence was incredible. It was so tranquil and peaceful with only the sound of a critter or bird here or there. We had kayaks delivered right to the dock. One AM kayak trip when the tide was low was pretty difficult as the current quickly pulled us down the river. A second attempt at high tide another day was much calmer and enjoyable. Don't miss Phil and Mikes for THEE best lobster rolls hands down for $10 but get there early because when he sells out he closes up for the day. We enjoyed the fireplace on chilly evenings. The 2 large tv's were perfect for watching our beloved Pittsburgh Penguins win the Stanley Cup and a memory our family will treasure. Ralph was easy to work with , too. I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation!"

  • Wonderful in every way!

"We recently stayed in the Penthouse and could not have been more pleased. We had our 20 something children with us and it would be tough to decide who enjoyed our stay more! They loved walking just next door to go on a great kayak adventure, then walking to great dining and tours! My husband I loved sitting on the deck and watching all the harbor activity, going on a clambake, and eating lots of lobster! The a/c was a must as it was beautiful and warm! Great time for all!"

  • Home Away from Home

"My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 5-night stay at Wicker Cottage. The location is excellent, a quick and pleasant walk to downtown Camden. It is in a very quiet and lovely neighborhood. You feel at home as soon as you enter. Michelle has provided all those little incidentals that you don't realize make for a cozy and comfortable stay. I especially enjoyed the family room for quiet time and dining room. Had a great time visiting all the little towns in the area, especially Boothbay Harbor - good lobster at The Tugboat Rest. As others have mentioned, the stairs are steep and narrow and might present a challenge for some travelers. We are in our 70s and did fine. The shower is small but there is a big tub you can soak in. Michelle is wonderful to work with and wants to make sure you have a pleasant stay."

  • Very comfortable house, fine setting

"We've stayed on midcoast Maine and Penobscot Bay many times, and this house is among the most comfortable that we've rented -- spacious and airy, with a fine kitchen, good bedrooms, and deck where we spent much of our time. The area is fun to explore, though on this trip we spent most of our time just hanging out, for which the house served very well. Tim was helpful, answering questions both before and during our stay, and contact with the outside world met our needs with Wi-fi and the house telephone. We'd be very happy to stay again!"
