  • Vactionland !! Indeed!!!

"This is the perfect Maine cabin. So beautiful and peaceful, a secluded bit of paradise yet easy to get to so many of Maine's pleasures. Carol is a wonderful host, she greeted us and then let us enjoy the week at her cabin , which is very well supplied for any and all needs. Belfast is a nice coastal town with good restaurants and we even went to a street fair which was fun. Marshalls Wharf Biergarten is a must go IMO. We came for the Lobsterfest in Rockland, which btw was where my father grew up in the 40s-50s. WE did a schooner sail out of Camden, Schooner Surprise and a reggae cruise in Boothbay. Other highlights include a day at Moose Point park , Threshers Brewing just a ten minute drive away BUT mostly just being at the cabin. Mornings are spectacular, the water is perfect for just peacefully floating around on our rafts, BBQ dinners in the screened in porch were el perfecto. We had the best Maine vacation. Thank you Carol."

  • Lovely Maine cabin faces the eastern sunrise over the lake. if you like loons. they sing nightly.

"This was a really lovely experience. Ed and Kate are great landlords, helpful but not intrusive. The cabin was clean, neat with comfortable furniture. It easily sleeps 4adults and 2 or 3 kids. Left great reads, canoe, row boat, and kayaks for tenant use. A great golf course half a mile away. Everything you need for a full summer vacation. Close to Augusta and shopping needs. Close I95 makes easy access to all of Maine. Only downside, no cell phone service but good internet for those who use VOIP. I look forward to repeating this summer experience!!!"

  • Beautiful little gem of a camp.

"This is a fantastic camp. Prettier than it looks. There are so many wonderful, thoughtful details inside. The sleeping porch is lovely. We had a minor plumbing glitch and Cricket (charming owner) was completely responsive. The camp is small however. The vibe is serene, perhaps better suited to couples than families with active kids. (That could be changed however if they add some boats and floats down at the water.) Entry into the water is fairly easy. Lake bottom is rocky. Water is crystal!"
