  • Can't wait to go back! Beautiful Coastal Home!

"This home was the most beautiful I have ever stayed in. Hands down, this rental exceeded all of our expectations. The property was immaculate and had all the comforts of home and then some! The views were spectacular! The owner answered all of our questions in a timely manner. We could not have asked for a more lovely week spent on the coast of Maine. This was a memorable event for our family and we look forward to spending more time in this beautiful home next year. I highly recommend staying here for anyone wanting a top-notch experience. They have thought of everything, absolutely perfect!! Go, you won't regret it."

  • Comfortable house. Great Location.

"Sea Sparkle served as home base during a week of hiking and sightseeing. The house was well stocked and in great condition. The location is very peaceful (roads in great condition for running). The kitchen table served as an early morning gathering place to drink coffee and watch the boats head out while planning activities for the day - a great, relaxing view! It's an easy walk to the Port Clyde General Store (including diner) for breakfast when cooking breakfast requires too much effort. Catch the early ferry in Port Clyde to Monhegan to hike the island's perimeter - the views will stop you in your tracks! It's a relaxing drive up 73 to Rockport, Camden and beyond. Camden Hills State Park has a huge selection of trails for all levels of hiking abilities and days can easily be spent trying to hike as many as possible. If weather is an issue, the Farnsworth Art Museum in Rockland is definitely worth the trip. Another cool point of interest is the Fort Knox and Penobscot Narrows Observatory (panoramic views!) as well as Fort Knox itself (Prospect ME) - hours flew by while exploring the recesses of the Fort - awesome!"

  • Great views!

"Charming, spacious home in the Spruce Point area. Very well maintained property, gourmet kitchen with every culinary gadget imaginable. Spruce Point Inn just up the road with pools, tennis courts, fishing, biking and kayaking. Our family is planning to go back this summer for more relaxation and high class amenities. Would definitely recommend."

  • Excellent Rental Experience

"We really loved this home. This felt like a home, not a rental which is key for us. The views from all over the house and deck were spectacular--situated on a working harbor so you see fisherman coming in and out, the water glistening under the sunlight, the beautiful gardens and the intense aromas of roses everywhere. We are foodies and so this was a great kitchen for us. Well stocked with everything you need to make a great meal. The home was well furnished, clean, the linens soft and cozy. Great for a small family get together. Right next door is a place called Luke's where you can go and get a beer or glass of wine and eat lobster rolls and fried clams. Rockland is 20 minutes away, a sweet town with a great museum--Farnworth (a must see); Camden is 40 minutes, also an historic downtown w/good restaurants and shopping. The town beach is 4 miles away and a great place to hang and read a book or go looking for rocks and shells. There's also a hidden quarry which my 3 boys loved as there was various opportunities to cliff dive! Betsy was easy to work with and very responsive! Thanks so much!"
