  • week stay at the cottage

"we stayed at this house, one of the most peaceful, private, and beautiful places we have stayed in Maine. It is very secluded, backs into the woods, and has an open front of cottage with a wonderful deck and lookout...you can watch the tides go in and way out, paddle in them when in....we went out one evening, and the water was so warm, like bath water...the rooms were comfortable, cozy, and fine...you can walk down the road to a nature preserve, climb up to the top, and see out for miles and miles and miles....close to Popham beach, and Reed state park, both highly recommended places to go...we loved our stay!!!! I would hope to return next year..."

  • Mid-Coast Maine

"We stayed three weeks at this property and enjoyed every day there! We brought our 7 year old cat with us and she loved the deck and cool temps! The house offers spectular views of Brigham Cove and gives one the feel of living in the woods with a view! It is an exceptionally clean and well equipped property. The house has history that the owners are willing to share with you that makes the house even more exceptional! We stayed in the mid-coast area for the simple beauty of the area, and for easy access to other areas north and south of Phippsburg for excursions ! Maine is July/August was a treat for us!"

  • A great taste of Maine

"This home was a wonderful setting for our family gathering of 8 people. We cooked lots of blueberry pancakes in the brand new well stocked kitchen and grilled many dinners outside on the deck. Evenings were spent playing games around the generously sized dining room table. Our 8 and 10 year old grandchildren had fun fishing ( we only caught crabs) from the dock, but really loved Popham Beach State Park, 20 minutes away. The location was a perfect launching point for day trips to the Coastal Maine Botanical Garden in Boothbay, LLBean in Freeport and our son's favorite brewery in Portland. Our CA daughter- in- law got her fill of lobster at various local restaurants and we found a Bait and Tackle shop on 209 that had the best homemade pies. It was a wonderful week in a very comfortable home."

  • Beautiful sunsets and views across the Kennebec.

"Very well maintained and clean cottage. The second floor porch is the perfect spot for morning coffee, to enjoy a good book or take a nap. The breeze off the water was refreshing with all of the heat this week. Close to all our favorite spots: Popham beach, Anna's Waterfront Restaurant, Bath Sweet Shoppe and the Mustard Seed Bookstore."
