  • very peaceful, million dollar view

"we had a nice getaway at this cottage. you can't beat the location. our kids loved exploring the beach - just a few steps away - and climbing on the rocks. the view is spectacular. we didn't realize before arriving this is a shared property & the owners have a separate house on the same property. In addition, the cottage is very, very rustic and "tired". however, overall, our vacation was enjoyable & there is lots to explore in the surrounding area."

  • Best Vacation ever!

"This is our 5th time here and it is always Heaven for 2 weeks, quiet mornings with coffee watching the ocean and lobster boats from the living room and quiet walks to Pemaquid Light House. Even in the fog and rain it is the best vacation ever. The renovated kitchen was nothing less than gourmet and so beautiful. We cooked in every night and it was a joy. Everything was spotless and so elegant. We always feel so fortunate that you allow us to share your home for 4 weeks out of the year. It is so much more than a "rental". It's a home at Pemaquid Point. See you in October...we can't wait. Barbara and Tom Furlong"

  • A classic coastal Maine retreat

"My girlfriend and I stayed for only two days and wished we had stayed longer! we loved the location as its the perfect place to experience coastal Maine the way it should be. The historic home was just the way it should be and we felt at ease instantly there. We highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for peacefulness and beauty in the Maine coastal country side! we will be back to stay for sure!!"

  • Our Home Away from Home

"This was our family's third visit to Schooners Landing since 2010. Pulling in the driveway, we all had the filling of returning home. With 11 of us, ranging in age from 3 to 68, the house fit our needs perfectly. From high chair to pac-n-play to swing set, from strollers to bikes, from kites to balls, and games for all ages, the house is perfect for families with children of all ages. The coastline provided the perfect spot for our granddaughters to search tirelessly for sea glass. The kitchen is well equipped!! The house has been well maintained, and we especially enjoyed the expanded deck overlooking the water!!!!! Schooners Landing's location provided us the opportunity to explore the coast of Maine from Portland to Acadia including visits to Monhegan Island and Vinalhaven Island. We also enjoyed our traditional visit to Millers for a lobster dinner. On our next family vacation to Maine, we will definitely stay at Schooners Landing."
