  • Terrific cozy cottage perfect for our family of 4

"We chose this cottage based on its location to several of the attractions and towns we wanted to visit. We are from Virginia so we wanted to have a home base in Maine while we could explore but we also needed a place that supplied linens, towels, and a furnished kitchen. We wanted to be off of the beaten path not in a camp ground. This cottage offered privacy and plenty to do. Our children are (9 & 10) and enjoyed the use of the kayaks around the pond as did we. There were a great selection and amount of supplied life vests. They were able to explore in the water and the land (small beach and woods). The screened in porch was one of our favorite places - eating, reading, and game playing. Even when it rained, we sat outside not getting wet. We had brought a few of our favorite games from home but we found there were tons of games to choose from already at the cottage. The kitchen was small but totally usable. We would eat a later lunch out exploring then come home and eat a light dinner on the porch. We found everything we needed in the kitchen. The local grocery store was about 15 minutes away (if that) and there were several farm stands close by. I would and have already recommended this cottage to friends and family. I hope to be able to go back again!"

  • Great location

"This was one of two houses in which my extended family stayed over the last two weeks for our annual family gathering. Sam has a lovely house with great qualities. My kids loved playing in the annex during the two very cold and rainy days our first full weekend there. They also loved the outdoor shower! The house gets some great cross breezes, which makes sleeping very easy. Beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is well stocked for what we needed. Though the house is not water front, it has water access and it is close enough to the water that you can smell it in the air. I loved sitting on the porch and breathing in the Maine air! Make sure to walk down to the dock. Though Maine waters are a bit cold for me, the kids and Dads loved jumping off the dock. We also used the tennis courts a few times. All in all, this is a great house, and you will not be disappointed. Sam is also very easy to work with. Enjoy!"

  • Beautiful views with plenty of space!

"We absolutely loved this house and the owners. Our three children had plenty of space to run, inside and out. The use of the paddle boat and kayaks were a huge hit. It was nice to travel to the nearby sights and come back to this house away from it all. The house is well equipped with everything you may needed; television, grill, pantry necessities, equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, and a beautiful view!"

  • Comfortable, accommodating, and so much more!

"Perfect place to settle for a week in Camden! Maine Squeeze was located very close to town and even a short walk to the biweekly Farmers Market. All other activities such as hiking Mt. Battie, swimming in Meguntacook Lake, winery visit, and museums in Rockland are a short drive away. The cottage itself was very comfortable, very well equipped, tv, wifi, washer/dryer, and a delightful yard full of flowers, places to sit, grill and eat outside on beautiful nights! Thank you, Sara, we had an amazing stay at your Maine Squeeze!"
