"Waking up in the morning sun shining through the windows with a view of the lake is amazing. whether it be for swimming, fishing or boating you can do it all here with family and friends. The location is perfect, for you are only one mile away from the causeway full of restaurants, boat rentals and little shops! John has been a wonderful landlord always here for what I may need. If you love Maine's features and are looking for a place to just get away then this is it!!!"

  • The property was well kept. The amenities are modest, but clean and well cared for.

"The unit itself was very nice and well appointed for a smaller space. Master bedroom is spacious and the 2nd bunk room is perfect for kids. Very functional kitchen for meals, and the entryway is equipped to hold ski equipment which was very helpful."

  • Very nice place with amenities for all ages.

"Amazing place, very well maintained, they thought of everything when they built this place. Plenty of space, things to do and tons of nice would work and decor to look at. You would have a tough time finding a better property to rent for you and your family."

  • This one has it all!

"The home is very spacious, open, clean & tastefully decorated. It's actually a bit larger than the photos represent. The view from the dining room is amazing with all the windows facing the pond. The view can be seen from the kitchen & living room. My husband was inspired to work on his book & set his laptop in the bay window in the dining room which overlooked the rolling, sprawling lawn & pond with a view of Mt Tom. The private beach has a large sandy area that isn't shown in the pictures & the mountain views are even better from the water, as you get to see the mountains towards the Kangamangus Highway. There is a floating dock offshore, canoe & paddle boat. The water is shallow gradual entry (great for small children) & sandy bottom with sparse rocks. Depth is about 6ft just up to the raft & drops deeper on the mountain side. The yard is landscaped with beautiful plantings, tiki torches, fire pit, multiple sitting areas, a hammock, a swing & even a slack line rope tied between 2 trees which my daughter & I took turns competing to see who could balance/walk the furthest. There is a spacious, private outdoor shower. The master bedroom is very large with a firm but comfortable bed, a washer machine, direct access to the full bathroom & is separated from the other 2 bedrooms by the living room. (privacy) All the beds were comfortable. I literally have not one complaint or suggestion. This is the perfect home for families because there was enough room for everyone to spread out. I've been coming to this area since I was a child & have been renting on homeaway.com for about 12 years now & this is by far the best one yet!"
