"My friends and I have been moving around every year to get together and catch up and have some summer fun. This is the fourth place we've been to and I heard from everyone it was our favorite. It's close enough to activities that make it easier to do something on the nice days, but is also secluded enough to make it the perfect vacation getaway. It sits on Kezar Lake, which is also one of the best lakes in Maine, in my opinion. There were also nine of us, which is a lot of people, but none of us felt crowded or cramped in this place. It was perfect. Thank you for having us, Betsy."

"This home was perfect for our vacation with 2 adults, 4 kids, and a small dog.
The cottage itself is in good condition, with a recently remodeled interior. It's not huge, but certainly adequate, and the cathedral ceilings in most rooms give it a more spacious feel. The extra half-bath is really important with 4 kids in in the house! The 14-year-olds loved the separate bunkhouse (which has electricity).
There's a good sized deck built out on top of the water, and a mooring buoy to tie up a boat if you have one. The beach itself is also very private and pleasant. Sebago's water is warm, and although the lakefloor is muddy, once you get out a few feet the water is quite clear. The house is situated on a quiet cove in Jordan Bay of Sebago, and powerboaters seemed respectful in not buzzing by too early or too late in the day.
The house is on a dirt road, so it's quite private, and what little traffic there is can't go quickly, so it's safe for biking or walking your dog. The Frye Island ferry is within walking distance.
The owner was responsive, fair, and pleasant to interact with. We hope to return some day!"

"Birchwinds was everything the owners said it was. It was a pleasure to walk into a clean and attractive environment that provided everything needed for a comfortable vacation week for a family of six. Guidelines for occupancy a/k/a Rules of the House were very helpful. Owners made themselves readily available in the event they were needed for problem-solving, but there were none. The house is beautiful with so many attractive features that added to our pleasure. Lake access and the lake deck and dock were teriffic. We have rented other homes in the Naples-Bridgton area for many years, some of which were rentals only and some also periodically occupied by the owners. Birchwinds beats them all. It is perfect for a family of six, but any additional people would be a bit tight given that the house has 1 1/2 baths with one shower. Six or fewer? This place is for you! If we are six people next year instead of our usual twelve, we will certainly be back if Birchwinds is available. Thank you, Weissmans!"
