  • 3rd time the charm..as usual

"Rented this house for the 3rd time....and as usual had a wonderful stay....we love how light and airy the house is....the view....and the location......if there is one area where we see room for improvement, it is the seating in the living room....a nice easy chair would be great for watching a movie in the evening Thanks for letting us stay at your house once more...we will be back!"

"Waking up in the morning sun shining through the windows with a view of the lake is amazing. whether it be for swimming, fishing or boating you can do it all here with family and friends. The location is perfect, for you are only one mile away from the causeway full of restaurants, boat rentals and little shops! John has been a wonderful landlord always here for what I may need. If you love Maine's features and are looking for a place to just get away then this is it!!!"

  • All the stars here!

"5 star accommodations under a starry sky on a peaceful lake. We had a wonderful two-week stay, and it wasn't enough! We worked with the gracious owners to extend our stay, and enjoyed an old school Fourth of July on Trickey Pond. The house is gracious and comfortable, perfectly clean, and offers a sweet view of the pond. We practically lived on the farmer's porch--eating and chatting and listening to loons. The kitchen is amazing--everything you could think of. The master bedroom suite is pretty and airy and far more spacious than we expected at a lake house. We enjoyed the canoe and kayaks, paddling out to the island for a dip and a try on the rope swing. Naples had everything that makes summer fun--cocktails by the sunset, super ice cream, a great grocery, a pie shop!, and nearby a drive in theater--we went three times. Another nice detail--the dead end road was perfect for jogging, and the neighbors we met along the way were very friendly. For biking, the shady state park is only about a mile away. Teens and adults all had a memorable stay, and we would like to return."

  • Perfect lake week!

"We just returned from our week at the lake with our two kids, age 7 and 4, their grandmother, and our dog. We had an amazing week! On top of perfect weather all week we enjoyed the wonderful sandy beach just steps from the porch and access to the dock to tie our small boat up to. There was plenty of space inside for everyone to be comfortable but we spend every little time inside aside from sleeping. The kitchen had everything we needed to eat almost all our meals in and the mattresses were very comfortable. We shared the beach with some family members on the weekends and they were welcoming and friendly. They even shared fluffer nutter sandwiches with my kids when they realized they had never tried fluff before! We enjoyed the big outdoor fireplace for smores as well. The only suggestion my husband had to make it perfect is an outdoor shower. Thank you for sharing your cabin!"
