  • Restorative, Fun, Family

"I spent 10 wonderfully restorative days at Sylph Lodge. Family visited over the weekends and we had a wonderful time, relaxing in front of the indoor and outdoor fireplaces. I even charcoalled steaks on the indoor brazier, something that had not been done in a while! They were delicious. One nephew did go in the water! Our hosts were, and are, terrific hosts and caring, dear people. I have begun to feel like family! Andy's blueberry muffins were yummy and so appreciated. My sister-in-law recommended that her parents rent for next summer and they booked a week. By the end of the 10 days, I was happily booked in for a summer week in 2017! Thank you for a wonderful week!!"

  • All the stars here!

"5 star accommodations under a starry sky on a peaceful lake. We had a wonderful two-week stay, and it wasn't enough! We worked with the gracious owners to extend our stay, and enjoyed an old school Fourth of July on Trickey Pond. The house is gracious and comfortable, perfectly clean, and offers a sweet view of the pond. We practically lived on the farmer's porch--eating and chatting and listening to loons. The kitchen is amazing--everything you could think of. The master bedroom suite is pretty and airy and far more spacious than we expected at a lake house. We enjoyed the canoe and kayaks, paddling out to the island for a dip and a try on the rope swing. Naples had everything that makes summer fun--cocktails by the sunset, super ice cream, a great grocery, a pie shop!, and nearby a drive in theater--we went three times. Another nice detail--the dead end road was perfect for jogging, and the neighbors we met along the way were very friendly. For biking, the shady state park is only about a mile away. Teens and adults all had a memorable stay, and we would like to return."

  • 5 Stars!!

"This was my first year renting on Purple Road and boy was it a fantastic vacation! The house is so close to all the activities, which made it easy to get around with my 8 month old son. The owner was very responsive and I have to say wonderful to rent from! The house had plenty of room for my family and the outside had a nice deck, fire-pit, chairs and a grill. We are very much looking forward to renting again next year!!!"
