  • A beautiful, spacious and quiet house.

"We liked very much our four day stay in the Sugarloaf Pine Home in Stratton. It was better than all our expectations. The wooden floors and walls create a warm and friendly atmosphere. The kitchen is very well equipped, and the dining room is spacious. We appreciated this a lot since we prefer to have our dinners 'at home' specially after hiking days (though there is a restaurant at less than 1 mile). In the evening, we relaxed in the confortable living room sometimes watching TV, and for sleeping, the rooms and beds are very confortable. The environment is also very quiet, the house being isolated by beautiful trees, among them a lot of pines which we found very nice and impressive. Thus, even though the house is close to road 27, we have the feeling of being in a remote place. Not least for people who like hiking like us, the house is close to the trailheads to the highest peaks in the area ( Bigelow, Saddleback,...). We were very happy about this, not to mention the trailhead of Cranberry peak which is less than 1 mile away. If we ever come back in the area, it is without doubt that we would appreciate to rent it again."

  • Fantastic Cottage!

"Fantastic vacation at Patti's cottage! We loved the layout inside especially the wildlife decor. The porch was great as we watched the most beautiful lightning display we have ever seen from miles away. We rode the many ATV trails in Errol and surrounding towns only nine miles away. Kayaked Umbagog, and Richardson lake up in the Rangely area which by the way had close to a dozen Loons calling back and forth and we had front row seats to one of the greatest wildlife sounds you will ever here. We traveled many miles in search of wildlife and ended up seeing three moose ten deer and a fox and many turkeys. We love staying there so much we are going back Labor day week."

  • Beautiful home, amazing location and great owner

"I stayed at this home over Labor Day weekend 2015 with my wife, parents and two kids. The hose was perfect... including everything we needed for comfort and convenience. Big kitchen area, dinning area, comfortable beds, bedrooms separated perfectly and water views from every room. I was impressed by the quality, upkeep and updated feeling of the home. The home really stands apart due to it's amazing location on the lake. Located at the end of a small peninsula, you can't help but enjoy the water views at every turn. The exterior of the home is beautifully maintained and includes ample seating. We had local friends over for a BBQ one-time and 12 people comfortably enjoyed the evening... which was completed by a perfect sunset and fire in the lakeside fire pit. The dock area is perfect for swimming and we also enjoyed a nice canoe ride around the lake. This home is really all you could ask for in a lake retreat."
