  • Peaceful relaxation at its best!

"The house is beautiful and the view is spectacular. We kayaked, relaxed on the hammock, watched the sun rise and set, read. The movie theater had dinner and drinks as you watched current movies. Close to Sebago Lake which had hiking paths and beautiful picturesque scenery. The owners are wonderful people. A perfect vacation!"

  • Beautiful home, ideal location.

"This is the perfect apartment for a quiet and peaceful retreat. It has all basic amenities, extremely clean, and located in a beautiful historic neighborhood. The cafe across the street serves wonderful fresh meals from breakfast to dinner plus there is a market with fresh produce just a couple of blocks away. The owners are very warm and friendly--and the energy in their home is very positive and relaxing. We will definitely stay again."

  • Very nice beachfront cottage

"This home was perfect for our vacation with 2 adults, 4 kids, and a small dog. The cottage itself is in good condition, with a recently remodeled interior. It's not huge, but certainly adequate, and the cathedral ceilings in most rooms give it a more spacious feel. The extra half-bath is really important with 4 kids in in the house! The 14-year-olds loved the separate bunkhouse (which has electricity). There's a good sized deck built out on top of the water, and a mooring buoy to tie up a boat if you have one. The beach itself is also very private and pleasant. Sebago's water is warm, and although the lakefloor is muddy, once you get out a few feet the water is quite clear. The house is situated on a quiet cove in Jordan Bay of Sebago, and powerboaters seemed respectful in not buzzing by too early or too late in the day. The house is on a dirt road, so it's quite private, and what little traffic there is can't go quickly, so it's safe for biking or walking your dog. The Frye Island ferry is within walking distance. The owner was responsive, fair, and pleasant to interact with. We hope to return some day!"

  • Family of four

"Did not expect the noise from the main road in the AM or evening, the hot spots are close by and noise can travel up the lake a bit. Also a bit more light pollution than anticipated. Sea Plane taking off every 20 minutes can get a bit irritating (no fault of owners obviously) If you are looking for some action and have kids this is the place. Plenty to do just a few minutes away. House was impeccable, modern, very well appointed. Proximity to the lake was all but a mere 10' away. Simply can't get any closer unless on a boat! Well done. No AC in any of the rooms or fans so bring some with you in case you hit a hot spell. Leaving the deck door open is a must to get the through breeze off the lake, HOWEVER it does not have any screens so make sure the lights and TV are off as to not attract the bugs. I would certainly book this property again, not question about it. Well worth the money."
