  • The title is very accurate. A nice sandy beach with easy access; gorgeous sunsets; loons!

"This Sebago Lake rental is a little gem. Cozy, Maine 1920s camp design with authentic waterfront camp feeling; but, at the same time, it is immaculately clean, well-maintained, has wonderfully easy access via a sandy beach into the water. Even toddlers would be able to enjoy the sand & water's edge (as long as a rare big-time windy/stormy day wasn't making waves that look like the ocean...but those are exciting days to sit out on the glassed-in/screened porch and just watch all the action on the lake). Well-stocked kitchen & the grill is conveniently right outside back door. Room a/c in living room & front bedroom were welcome on days/nights when temps went up over 90 degs. Most rooms also have ceiling fans which help greatly with cooling. Owners Roxanne & Kelly are very welcoming, helpful, have local info, and will go out of their way to help in the out-of-the-ordinary task (they provided support/assistance when my sister & her husband, while they were staying with us, bought a pontoon boat at Richardson's Marina...now that's way and above what you expect your renters to do for you!). At the same time, the owners are not intrusive and get their sense of how much privacy you want from you. Plenty of lawn chairs, beautifully designed campfire ring in nice location between house & beach for quiet summer nights, and we spent/enjoyed spending a lot of time sitting out on the deck that extends just over the beach/water's edge. There's always plenty of boat activity to watch. And mustn't forget the loons...almost every night without fail, we hear loons crying their spiritual cries. And sometimes they're in front of the house during the day; my photographer sister was able one morning to get two incredibly beautiful close-up photos of a loon out on the water...floating in the riffles and then cleaning/preening with wings spread. You should check with the owners if you have problems with knees and stairs...I'm in the middle of physical therapy for a badly injured knee caused by two different falls (no cartilage left between tibia & femur) and I had to limit how many times/day I climbed up the stairs to parking lot. Stairs from house to beach much easier. Stairs to parking lot are doable, but not too many times each day. We've had a wonderful two weeks staying here. Thank you so much Roxanne & Kelly for having such a wonderful summer home on the very edge of Sebago Lake and sharing it with all of us who love to come to Maine for a summer vacation."

  • Wonderful, relaxing stay in a perfect house

"2 families with children met at this house to spend a long weekend watching the beautiful foliage and having an absolutely wonderful time. The house is stocked with anything you may possibly need. If we make it back to Maine at some point in the future, I hope we will be able to repeat this stay and enjoy it once more. Thank you, Kelly!"

  • Sebago Lake Dream Cottage

"Our second year in a row to rent this stunning lake property. We absolutely love this place! The cottage itself is beautifully renovated, clean and well appointed with comfortable beds, furnishings, sound/lighting, appliances and a spacious screened porch for dining or lounging while you enjoy the sunset. The cove is ideal to swim, kayak & canoe plus there is an additional sandy beach just steps away. The mooring ball is a much needed item should you wish to bring your boat because it can be windy in the cove. If I had to find a negative, it would be that there isn't a dock for easy access on and off the boat. Other than that, the place has it all! We always hate to leave at the end of our week, but know we will return the following summer for some more family memories!"

  • Beautiful Home

"This house is even better in person. It was so clean and absolutely perfect for us and the guests we brought up with us. The house is in a perfect area with just a short walk to the center of all the action in Old Orchard Beach. Matt was also a pleasure to communicate with. He gave us tips on things we could do and made sure we were taken care of for the week. We loved it so much we already booked it again for next year!"
