  • Fantastic!

"We had another wonderful October weekend with our dachshund friends in Naples/Bridgton, and the Rhoads' cottage was a great home base as always! Clean and well stocked with all necessities and friendly and accommodating landlord! Hope to keep going each year!"

  • Lovely Cottage

"My family and I recently spent a week at the cottage and had a lovely time. The house is very cute, clean and steps away from the beach. Upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised at how close the house really is to the beach and having a two year old this was fantastic. It was so easy to go back and forth from cottage to beach. We spent most of our days relaxing on the beach and using the kayaks around the lake, which is another nice bonus of the house. I loved that the location was on the secluded and peaceful basin of the lake and is minutes from stores and restaurants as well. Overall we had a pleasant vacation and plan on returning, would definitely recommend!"

  • Everything you want in a lake house

"Beautiful home inside and out. The house is well equipped with just about everything you should need. Lots of cook ware of every size. While there are some very nice restaurants in the area we all choose stay in to cook and enjoy eating on the patio over looking the lake. The lake front is perfect. Deep water dock that you can drive right in off the end and not worry about hitting bottom. The water is very clean with a rocky and sandy bottom. The backyard also had a very nice fire pit right next to the water that we enjoyed every night. Greg keeps a nice stack of firewood too so we didn't have to worry about going out and getting our own. Sometimes it's the little things that make a big difference."

  • Making More Memories - Cottage was a Great Fit!

"Just got back from a great week at Point Sebago. Our 12th Year but this was our first year in this house. This was a great fit for my 3 generation family. Master Bedroom accomodated a portacrib just great. This house was the best stocked house we ever stayed in. I could have left so many things home! We even used some fresh herbs from the window boxes! Large Flat screen TV was a hit with the Red Sox fan in the family. Spacious deck was a great spot for playing board games. Fire pit was great and we loved the "replace what you use" rule for firewood. Only thing I would recommend is if you are coffee lovers (as we were) plan to bring your coffee pot from home. There is a 4 cup coffee pot along with an insulated carafe but I would have preferred to just brew one big pot every morning than make 3 small ones every day. I will know for next year! Easy walk from this house to the beach, the pavillion and the splash park but being on a dead end made for very little traffic. Owner was very easy to communicate with from my very first contact. Cannot wait for next year!"
