"Amazing vacation is an understatement!!! We can not thank you Donna and Mike for sharing your beautiful home again with our family which has grown, as you know, from last year. Madison's 1st vacation to Wortherly Pond and seeing her in the pond will always be one of my favorite memories. I highly recommend this home to anyone who wants to have a relaxing vacation Donna and Mike supply everything that you need They are personable and excellent hosts! Thanks again Can't wait to see you next year"

  • Impeccable, Captivating, true Maine experience

"This weekend, myself and two friends were looking for a homey location to enjoy ourselves while we came to Maine for our annual ski trip. The house offered us a much more enjoyable stay than what we could have wished for. As the first person to arrived, I was relieved and happy to find 'The Country House' well shoveled and plowed. The home was impeccably clean, and enough wood for the fireplace to last us more than a week! The best part of the home was the amazing views on the side of Bryant Pond, where we where able to watch the local Ice Fisherman earn their catch. The water was frozen and we were able to venture over the Maine's beautiful mountainous landscape. The home also had a lovely sun room, which was the most luxurious feeling place to rise with the sun, eat breakfast, and energize for the long days of shredding ahead. The hot tub, with a view of the lake sized pond, offered the optimal place to relax and enjoy a few drinks after skiing. Overall a 5 star experience, for the low cost! Highly recommend for any group of friends, team members, and especially for family outings! Cant wait to come back for next year and possibly this summer..."

  • Beautiful, well maintained property with fantastic views

"A group of friends and I stayed at Bill's house the 3rd weekend in October. The house is beautiful and well maintained. Everything you could possibly need is in the house. There is all the modern luxury of wifi, tvs, DVDs, etc and also tons of books and board games. The beds and furniture were very comfy. The house was very clean. The house is laid out extremely well with 3 separate living spaces which allowed for lots of places for people to have their own space. Yet the main living area is big enough for everyone to congregate together too. Bill was great to work with. He always responded quickly to emails and was laid back and friendly. The hot tub was wonderful and we very much enjoyed relaxing in it. The lake is across the street from the house and access is via the town beach. I personally wouldn't find this ideal for summer time but it was fine for the fall. The house is right on the road so lake access and the fire pit aren't private but the hot tub is on a quiet little deck off the side of the house. All in all it is a fantastic place, comfy, relaxing, in great condition and with tons to do. The view of the lake form the house is gorgeous."

  • Great Ski Vacation

"Located in Bethel, it's within walking distance of some local restaurants and was only a 10 minute drive to Sunday River. Perfect for a long weekend or week ski vacation."
