  • Wonderful house! Beautiful views!

"We had a wonderful 5+ days staying at Timber Ridge with family and friends. Everything we could have wanted: 5 bedrooms, beautiful views, roomy well applianced kitchen, large dining area, lovely deck with a hot tub. Our extended family was there for a wedding at a nearby location. There was plenty of room for all (14 including two youngsters). We enjoyed all the amenities and had a relaxing time. I would recommend this house to anyone."

  • Lovely Ski House

"We were the first renters of the property and everything went so well. I highly recommend this house for a stay in Sunday River. The house is beautifully decorated and has several areas to relax or watch TV so everyone has a space. The beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen has all the amenities. The views are great as well. It's 5 min to the town of Bethel and less than 15 to Sunday River, easy drives both. The owners are very helpful - while we were there, we had huge snowstorm and the power went out (it was public utility issue)- with six kids staying there ages 15 to 1, that was a problem. I texted the owners early in the morning, they responded right away, and they interacted with the utility company for us until the power came back on. Very happy with our stay and especially if you are one or two families looking for a house to stay altogether - this is the place for you."

  • Cozy yet spacious cabin in the snow fit for a family of 6

"First of all I have to say that before and during our stay, Diane and I spoke quite often over text about our arrival and what was going on during our stay (which happened to be a blizzard). She was very responsive and friendly throughout our experience. I would happily stay at any of her properties. The property we stayed at this time was this beautiful cabin in the snow just outside of the White Mountains. Though the property looks just like the pictures, the pictures posted online don't do this house justice. As soon as we walked in the house, we were all in awe with how pretty and well appointed it was. I felt like I was walking into a brand-new home with brand-new furniture and decor down to the seemingly unused pots, pans, and plates to the vibrant and color coordinated washcloths, hand towels, and bath towels. However, it didn't take long for us to feel completely at home. This house was unlike any other we stayed at before in that this truly felt like our home for the time that we spent there and we were all sad to leave. There were six of us in our group: two grandmas, two parents, and two kids (18yo & 7yo). The 18yo just told me this house was his favorite and the 7yo just said he liked this house the most because of the hot tub (which we did use despite the snowy conditions) and because we regularly saw snow plows coming down our street. Our stay was originally booked for four nights, but with winter storm Stella arriving the day that we were scheduled to depart, Diane was more than accommodating and allowed us to stay an extra night (we were lucky that there wasn't another reservation booked after us). After the blizzard (over 17in of snow) was over, the neighborly snow plow plowed our driveway. I also want to mention that all the roads in the area were completely clear of snow We had everything we needed there at the house and wanted for nothing. Even the beds had memory foam padding to make sleeping the most comfortable. We were close to all the activities we took part in: skiiing, ice fishing and dog sledding. The house has wifi but it wasn't working most of the time we were there, however it didn't matter much to us because cell phone reception was excellent. I could go on and on about this house, but I don't have enough space here to do that. I will say that if we ever come back to this area, we will without a doubt stay at this house again! WE LOVED IT!"
