  • Perfect weekend on Long Kake

"My family and I had the pleasure of staying three nights at this lovely cottage. We felt right at home as soon as we walked in. The place is comfy and inviting as well as spotlessly clean. The photos of the house and surrounding property are accurate. Tracy is a very nice person and was so easy to deal with. It's situated on the lake on an acre of land so there is plenty of space and privacy around the cottage. The views of the lake were spectacular from the living/dining area and kitchen. We didn't cook but the kitchen seemed well equipped. We were very close to town but also secluded. Bridgton is only as few minutes drive and has some very respectable restaurants. Can't wait to come back in the warmer weather.looking forward to having coffee on the deck in the morning and sitting around the fire pit in the evenings. We are definitely going back."

  • Beautiful house with an amazing location

"My friends and I have been moving around every year to get together and catch up and have some summer fun. This is the fourth place we've been to and I heard from everyone it was our favorite. It's close enough to activities that make it easier to do something on the nice days, but is also secluded enough to make it the perfect vacation getaway. It sits on Kezar Lake, which is also one of the best lakes in Maine, in my opinion. There were also nine of us, which is a lot of people, but none of us felt crowded or cramped in this place. It was perfect. Thank you for having us, Betsy."

  • Terrific lakefront retreat.

"My wife, kids and I had a wonderful week here. The lake front is unbeatable as is the water quality in the lake. The sunsets were stunning as were the starry skies. The screened in porch is perfect for dining, reading, schmoozing and doing rewrites, and, on hot nights, we appreciated that there are ceiling fans in every bedroom. My only quibble is we could never figure out how to work the tv (in the living room) and as a result we could watch only the less-than-scintillating meetings of the Bridgeton Town Council."

  • Great Rental Property

"We had an incredible time on Thompson Lake!! The house was super clean, nothing fancy but had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again. The lake was pristine, kayaks were lots of fun and the dock was great for jumping right into the lake! The house is situated so that there is a small cove which was great for my 11 year old to learn how to navigate the kayaks and by the end of the week he went out with my husband for about an hour just cruising around the lake. We rented a boat for 2 days from the local marina and went water tubing...such a blast. I would definitely recommend this house for a vacation in Maine!"
