  • Great Rental Property

"We had an incredible time on Thompson Lake!! The house was super clean, nothing fancy but had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again. The lake was pristine, kayaks were lots of fun and the dock was great for jumping right into the lake! The house is situated so that there is a small cove which was great for my 11 year old to learn how to navigate the kayaks and by the end of the week he went out with my husband for about an hour just cruising around the lake. We rented a boat for 2 days from the local marina and went water tubing...such a blast. I would definitely recommend this house for a vacation in Maine!"

  • Best Vacation for a Group with Kids

"We just came back from just an amazing Vacation at this home. The Pool was perfect, the Location is Perfect, The room to feed the kids was perfect! We had 4 families with kids ages between 3-12 and it may have been our best family vacation. We relaxed by the pool while fishing at night. We had a grill that took care of dinners and lunch. The different choices in rooms for kids sleeping habits was exactly what we needed. Everything with contracting to service from Sandra was easy. I would recommend this house for vacation. So much so........we are thinking of doing it again next year."

  • Wonderful home; Wonderful Location

"Sheila and Steve's home on Thompson Lake is wonderful. It is well equipped (linen, kitchen items, and other supplies) and can even accommodate a large family with young children on a rainy day (foosball, ping pong, board games, a extensive DVD library, and a hot tub)! The children love the bunk room which, as do two bedrooms for adults, has a great view of the lake. Lake access is suitable for youngsters, swimmers, and boaters. The home comes with a canoe and two kayaks which are great for exploring the lake. Shopping is a short drive. Thompson Lake is large (11 miles long) and deep (120 feet at deepest). There is little boat traffic. The water is clear. We know central Maine lakes, and we can attest that Thompson Lake is the finest. The home is quiet. It is located on the second of two islands connected to the mainland by two causeways."

  • Quaint little camp!

"We had an awesome stay at this camp right on the lake. It was a real beauty to sit on the porch and watch the sun burn away the morning fog revealing more and more of the wonderful scenery. The Lyon's were extremely accommodating to our needs and made our stay stress free and easy."
