  • Perfect cabin in the woods

"We had a great time in this comfy cabin. It was equiped with just about everything we needed. It was super close to the downtown area, so if we forgot anything, we could easily get it. We almost stayed an extra night! We would stay in it again."

  • A Piece of Heaven

"My family came up from the heat of NC to enjoy the most spectacular property we have ever stayed at in Maine. The large pine grove on the edge of the lake was gorgeous and the natural sandbar and crystal clear water were a blast to play in and enjoy. This is a great property for young families (the sandy beach) or older with great swimming and hiking right out the doors of the spacious and very comfortable home. Right now, we are trying to figure out the family schedules so we can make our reservations for next year. We want to go to bed to the sound of the loons again. I want to also thank the owners of this beautiful camp. They made our experience all the more enjoyable."

  • Great spot on Thompson Lake with sandy entry for small children. Camp was perfect for us.

"We had great weather which helped our wonderful week vacation on the clean and clear water of Thompson Lake. The layout of the camp was perfect for our three generational family. We had our own party boat and Nana caught a big fish which was released for someone else to catch, 3-4 pound small mouth. Had our own kayaks which we used daily as the mom, dad and baby loon swam by singing to us. Morning coffee on the deck or dock was fantastic. We all took turns cooking and made a few suggestions to the owners to which they responded positively. Having to resupply drinking water was not an inconvenience for us Mainers, but might be for someone else. We hope to rent again. Nice spot."

  • Quaint little camp!

"We had an awesome stay at this camp right on the lake. It was a real beauty to sit on the porch and watch the sun burn away the morning fog revealing more and more of the wonderful scenery. The Lyon's were extremely accommodating to our needs and made our stay stress free and easy."
