  • So relaxing!

"My husband, myself and our two dogs stayed here over the long weekend and loved every minute of it. The cottage had everything we were looking for in a relaxing vacation. It was peaceful and the sounds of falling acorns and loons on the lake were lovely to hear. The cottage was clean and the kitchen had everything you could think of in regards to utensils and pots and pans. The furniture was comfy and there were lots of blankets to use for chilly weather. There is a great grocery store in town which is a short drive from the cottage. The view from the cottage is spectacular...There aren't any houses across the lake, so there's zero light pollution to muck up the beautiful view. I highly recommend this cottage to anyone wanting a comfortable and relaxing stay."

  • Lovely home in a great spot!

"We have stayed here a couple of times now and it is a lovely house. Plenty of space for a group, walk to town in five minutes and the lake is right there. We stayed in winter and it took us less than 10 minutes to get to Shawnee peak to ski. The kids love this house. It's not shiny or new but it's a lovely rustic home which is perfect for all seasons. The price is very fair for so much space. We will be back!"

  • A Piece of Heaven

"My family came up from the heat of NC to enjoy the most spectacular property we have ever stayed at in Maine. The large pine grove on the edge of the lake was gorgeous and the natural sandbar and crystal clear water were a blast to play in and enjoy. This is a great property for young families (the sandy beach) or older with great swimming and hiking right out the doors of the spacious and very comfortable home. Right now, we are trying to figure out the family schedules so we can make our reservations for next year. We want to go to bed to the sound of the loons again. I want to also thank the owners of this beautiful camp. They made our experience all the more enjoyable."

  • All the stars here!

"5 star accommodations under a starry sky on a peaceful lake. We had a wonderful two-week stay, and it wasn't enough! We worked with the gracious owners to extend our stay, and enjoyed an old school Fourth of July on Trickey Pond. The house is gracious and comfortable, perfectly clean, and offers a sweet view of the pond. We practically lived on the farmer's porch--eating and chatting and listening to loons. The kitchen is amazing--everything you could think of. The master bedroom suite is pretty and airy and far more spacious than we expected at a lake house. We enjoyed the canoe and kayaks, paddling out to the island for a dip and a try on the rope swing. Naples had everything that makes summer fun--cocktails by the sunset, super ice cream, a great grocery, a pie shop!, and nearby a drive in theater--we went three times. Another nice detail--the dead end road was perfect for jogging, and the neighbors we met along the way were very friendly. For biking, the shady state park is only about a mile away. Teens and adults all had a memorable stay, and we would like to return."
