  • Wonderful Stay!

"We had a small family reunion at this house. The house was beautiful, clean and comfortable. We easily slept 11 people. There is a fun gameroom/family room on the lower level which everyone enjoyed. The deck was spacious with a large table for 8 and a grill. The small beach, dock and fire pit next to the lake were awesome. The owners were very nice and easy to work with. I would definitely stay at this house again!"

  • Lovely Cottage

"We stayed here for a week in August with our entire family of 6, including a 1 year old. The cottage is in beautiful shape; it actually looks new. Each entryway is tiled, there is an outdoor shower and a nice lawn area. And as someone noted, it is about a mile from Route 302 but we never heard any traffic noise at all. It is right on the community beach (which was very quiet while we were there). We had a wonderful time using the 2 kayaks (there is also a rowboat and canoe), and the Basin area is off the main lake and less wavy, which is perfect for children. The beach is shallow and sandy. It is hard to find a house with "adult bedrooms", and the 3rd bedroom here does have bunk beds but that worked alright for us. 3 bathrooms and a washer/dryer also were a bonus. The only small complaint we had was that the AC units in the main and upper floors were very small. It was a hot week and we had to run them constantly in order to keep the rooms cool. We would have loved to turn them off during the day, open the windows, and then turn them back on in the evening before bed, but that would not have worked. The lower walk out basement room did not have AC (there was a fan), and started to smell a bit damp by the end of the week. Another window unit here would solve this issue easily. We had a couple of very small issues during the week that were promptly dealt with. All in all, we loved the cottage, the neighborhood, and the lake. We would definitely consider returning."
