  • Great Spot

"Originally we had some trouble finding a place that would fit 10 people, but then I stumbled across Bethel Chalets online and found it to be a great fit! Only 15 mins from Sunday River made it for an easy commute to the mountain in the morning, I believe Mt. Abrams was only 10 mins max from this house as well-- but we only went to Sunday River. Chris was easy to work with and very responsive. Driveway fit 4 cars comfortably, and though we only had 10-- we could have fit a couple more if needed with the pull out couch. Had a great porch with a hot tub and a fireplace in the living room was great to come back to after a day at the mountain. Exactly what we needed long weekend ski trip with friends!"

  • Fantastic Maine coastal getaway!

"Our family spent a week at this gorgeous home and loved every minute. The house is beautiful and comfortable with water views on all sides. Private and remote in feel but only a 5 minute walk to one of the best lobster shacks around. Adirondack chairs on the point for reading. Lovely patio to watch the sunsets. Dock for swimming, kayaking and canoeing. The owner Rick answered every question within minutes. He also gave us some great local tips. I didn't want to leave!"

  • Thompson lake house is awesome!

"My husband and I spent the week celebrating his 50th bday with friends and family at this beautiful lake house. The house has everything you need and beyond, including a gorgeous view of Thompson lake. The house is very well built, modern and comfortable in a rustic wooded setting. The kichen was well outfitted for groups to cook together every night, before heading out to sit around the fire pit (which comes stocked with wood). My husband took advantage of a local guide to learn how to fish the lake and spent every day forward on the lake fisihing with his buddies (and even catching!). We would definitely recommend this for a peaceful summer vacation!"

  • Favorite Summer Memories!

"This was our third year staying at this Prouts Neck home. It has become a highlight of our summer and a favorite family tradition. The house is beautiful, comfortable and well-situated close to the beach. You can tell that the owners take great pride in the home and that they enjoy sharing this gem with guests. The house is immaculate upon arrival with extra touches such as provided soap and toilet paper. Even beach chairs and beach towels are available for use! The beds are extremely comfortable and the house easily sleeps our family of 10. While we were there this year, it was extremely hot. However, it is comfortable to sleep at night with the windows open and the ample provided fans. The kitchen is very neat, practical and modern. I love the convenience of the washer and dryer right in the kitchen. The bathrooms are modern and clean with great showers. Nothing can top the amazing beach (only a 5 minute walk from the house!) and the cliff walk. The beach is calm, quiet and peaceful. A true get-away! Yet, many attractions are close by, if you want to venture out by car to restaurants, shops and activities. We already look forward to returning next summer!"
