  • Very nice short term stay

"During our holidays in New England we spent one week at the Sea Grass farm. We loved the spacious and comfortable house. Also it was a perfect starting point for day trips."

  • A lovely escape

"Lilliana's guest house is a very pleasant, spacious, comfortable home. It was unusually hot and humid the week we were there so we were very grateful for the AC units upstairs and downstairs. The home is beautifully decorated with lots of original artwork and soothing colors. The beds and furniture were in great shape and very comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped and had newer appliances. Her property is unique and lends itself to quiet strolls enjoying and observing nature, perfect for birdwatching, reading in the hammock, or children who just need to run around and explore. Although none of the 4 of us kayak, I imagine the bay would be a kayaker's dream, beautiful and calm with lots of areas to explore. We got to see clam diggers off-shore at low tide and my daughters and I got to see a bald eagle high in the tree above the dock. What a treat! Lilliana was delightful, always available for questions including recommendations for good places to eat. We highly recommend going to the Dolphin Marina and Restaurant in nearby Harpswell if you'd like a delicious dinner with a view! Get there early for dinner and enjoy at drink on the deck while you wait for a table. Spectacular sunsets, delicious food and great service! Lilliana's home is also a short country drive thru the woods and rolling fields to the college town of Brunswick and Boothbay Harbor makes a perfect day trip! Enjoy: )"

  • Peaceful, beautiful spot on the Maine coast

"Spent a wonderful time in September at this very lovely guest house on the water. The house and the grounds--at a gorgeous, picturesque point on the water-- are so peaceful and quiet, but still within driving distance of all the wonderful things Maine has to offer. The guest house has large rooms--beautifully and comfortably decorated---with everything you need for a great stay. And there are so many thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. The location is perfect--on a point with just the water as a background. And it was really wonderful to look out the window at the trees, hear the birds chirping, and watch the changing sky over the water! The owners are so pleasant and helpful, and will make sure you have whatever you need to make your stay just heavenly."

  • Beautiful view, comfortable cottage

"We really enjoyed staying in this cottage in Phippsburg. Beautiful view of the ocean and small harbor from the porch (front and side) and yet very private. Cottage was clean and comfortable--unpretentious, i.e. 'cottagey'. Bed was especially comfortable. Kitchen included everything for cooking and eating, though bring a sharp knife for food prep. I very much appreciated that sheets and towels came wrapped up; since we made up our own bed we knew it was clean. both towels and sheets were wonderfully white. We did not meet the owner, but we very much liked Bill who takes care of the place. We didn't need anything, but if you did he lives right up the hill. End of July we had absolutely perfect weather, warm sunny days and cool nights. Some nights were clear and we saw stars and meteors! For eating out, we especially liked Anna's, which is nearby."
