  • Most relaxing vacation in 20 years

"As a grandfather with two granddaughters under the age of 3 years, this was a fantastic vacation. In total, we were 5 adults and 2 toddlers for a week. It was great. The house was nicely setup, very clean, lots room, great deck and with all the Comforts of home. We enjoyed the quite location, walks on the beach, bird watching and teaching the girls to search for sea glass. Portland was 10 minute ferry ride away. We took advantage of few day trips to Portland and LL Bean. Favorite spot/time was sunset on the deck, unforgettable! Liked it so much that we booked next year before leaving the property."

  • What an amazing stay we had in Graces Place!

"Our experience here was amazing! With 6 of us it was very comfortable and love the views from this amazing Maine Cottage! Jack and Mary was very nice.. Made us feel like family. We didn't want to leave this place. Highly recommend Graces place if you want to experience the Maine Coast and LL Bean is right up the road. There is even a little store 2 miles away that have great pizza or you can pick from many places for fresh lobster and clams! We will definitely be back for another visit here!"

  • Freeport, ME - Charming Cabin in the Woods & on the Water

"We knew the moment we drove into the area that we had chosen the perfect place to stay in Maine. The cabin delivered the "woodsy" rustic charm we were seeking. The walk to the waterfront is a visual delight with walkways, a beautiful rock wall, and the clean, fresh smell of pine. Our mid-west roots had not prepared us for the high tide | low tide schedule and we found ourselves watching it daily to see when we could head out with the kayaks or low tide to dig for clams. The cabin was well stocked with paper items, spices, and clean towels and linens. On the one rainy day we had, we dove into the treasure trove of movies available and greatly enjoyed a movie afternoon. Easy access to Freeport and shopping. Day trips to Boothbay Harbor, Bath, Bar Harbor, and Portland are an easy drive. Loved hiking in Wolf Neck State Park. We highly recommend the waterfront cabin in the woods for a great Maine experience and hope to return next year!"

  • Beautiful Home & Views

"My wife and our 3 children (ages 9, 11 and 12) spent the week her and the description of this property is right on point but you must see it to truly appreciate it. The views are terrific, the property was immaculate upon arrival and the beds and furniture were all new and very comfortable. The owners were very nice and accommodating. We usually vacation in Nantucket during this time for two weeks but my kids loved this place so much it may be our new spot. The kids loved the house and the use of kayaks and the paddle boards kept us all thoroughly entertained. I would highly recommend this property to anyone seeking to stay in this area."
