  • A little paradise

"We spent ten days at Birch Point at the end of May with our three kids (all below 4 years old). The property turned out even better than on the pictures, making it an ideal retreat for families with young children; it's very well equipped, incredibly clean and well thought. Most of all, the view is breathtaking. Jon Leaver was always super helpful and diligent in answering all our questions. Overall, this was an ideal stay. We definitely recommend this property for vacations outside of the world ... we came back to NYC fully rejuvenated!"

  • Memorable Experience

"We had an amazing time staying at this wonderful home! The indoor space was great along with the outdoor area. The kids enjoyed playing down by the water and running around in the yard. The home was spacious and perfect for a large family with a mix of children of all ages and adults. With beautiful weather and a fabulous landscape right outside the door, we could not have asked for anything more. The owner Frank was fabulous to work with and was always helpful. Our experience there was unforgettable!"

  • Paradise

"My husband and I just got back from an incredibly wonderful week at Henry's Hideaway! Jack and Mary were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. They really made us feel at home. Mary gave us a great suggestion for the perfect place to watch the sunset. Jack shared places we could kayak to for a great muffin and also to a dinner place. We had great conversations with both of them. They have been in the area for a long time and are happy to share their knowledge of the area with you. We loved being able to walk down the path to take our kayaks out on the cove. The cottage was very homey, comfortable and impeccably clean! It was more than big enough for the two of us. The full kitchen suited us well as we love to cook. Even though I had not expected it to be , the Murphy bed was very comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the deck reading , napping , watching the bald eagles, having a glass of wine. It was so peaceful. It's the most private place I've ever vacationed! We took full advantage of the great trails in Harpswell as well as all of the beautiful places to watch the sunset! We hope to stay for two weeks next year."

  • Family getaway to Freeport

"The description of the property was true to it's word and the amenities were above and beyond our expectations. A warm cozy cabin, perfect for our large family to gather over Veterans Day weekend. Great location and plenty of space for us to spread out. Our children loved exploring the wooded area near the house & collecting treasures while the tide was low. Very well maintained and great customer service! I would absolutely recommend this property to my family & friends, this experience has definitely swayed me to book more frequently on VRBO instead of big hotel chains. We received every comfort of home, away from our home in Newport, RI. During our visit we explored Portland, downtown Freeport & a day trip to Boothbay Harbor- very easy drives from this location, even with our 1yr & 3yr old children."
