  • A Gracious Hostess and A Spectacular view of Pott's Harbor

"After following Rte. 123 to the very end plus a very picturesque half a mile of dirt road we were greeted by the owner, Margaret. Following a brief orientation, we were shown to our unit,. directly facing Potts Harbor and looking across the bay to our favorite seafood restaurant, Erica's. A small porch, adjacent to the front door, provided a sheltered area for reading and snacking. Another sitting area at a seawall just below a garden provided another sitting/reading area and an expansive view of the harbor and fishing fleet. The unit was comfortably furnished with separate bedroom, living room, dining room, bathroom, & kitchen; all completely equipped. There is much to see and do with reasonable drive times. We will certainly return to this ideal vacation spot."

  • Just as Pictured!

"My husband and I spent a week in August here and absolutely loved it. The house is as bright, immaculate, and beautifully decorated as in the pictures, and the views really are that good. The neighborhood is very walkable and charming and the neighbors are friendly. We rented kayaks for the week from someone just down the street and were able to beach them in the cove at the end of the neighborhood, about a 5 minute walk from the house-- very convenient. We bought some art from another neighbor who has a stunning studio in her home. The only caveat is that the water is not drinkable and you must bring your own-- they provided a gallon which for us was not enough but we didn't re-stock early enough so go ahead and bring more than you think you need! Also, if you are a person who wants long showers or baths, this is not the place for you. Only a stand-up shower that isn't designed to run for a long period of time (water well). Our hosts were helpful, responsive, and hospitable. They even shared some of their fresh-caught Maine lobsters and showed us how to prepare them! This was one of our best vacations and we hope to return."

  • Our Summer Retreat.

"We have been staying in the cottage for the last 4 years now. It's peaceful, quiet and very serene. A place where we heal, rest and solve the worlds problems. Easy to get anywhere from there, groceries, dining, beaches and shopping. We will be extending our stay next year to 2 weeks. We love the Cottage."
