  • Cozy Cottage at the Ocean

"This cozy and rustic cottage is the perfect location for a young family or small group of adults looking to relax at the seashore. I am a fourth generation Maine vacationer and have vacationed in this town since I was a toddler. The cottage is just steps from the beach which means no searching for public parking or having to use public restrooms. We don't even pack a cooler anymore; when we get hungry we just walk back to the house for sandwiches and snacks. The property is well maintained by the owner and her family. The cottage has a full kitchen for anyone wishing to prepare their own meals instead of eating at restaurants. It is also now equipped with Wi-Fi! The cottage is located near some of the best fresh seafood (Ken's Place, Bayley's Lobster Pound). You can picnic along the rocky coast and walk coastline trails at Two Lights National Park. There are many lighthouses, like Portland Head Light, within a short drive. You can see a life-sized chocolate moose at Len Libby chocolatiers or tour the Desert of Maine, the world's northern most desert. You can also explore the nearby salt water marsh on foot and bicycle paths or via canoe."

  • Amazing accommodation for anyone staying in Maine

"Lisa is a wonderful landlord and will bend over backwards to make your stay as relaxing and perfect as possible. The rental is brand new and has everything you need to live here for either a short or long stay. It is totally separate from the main house, so you can do your own thing without bothering anyone else. The best part of the rental is its location: it has everything you would need within running/biking/short driving distance. For example, it is about 2.5 miles from Higgins Beach, 7 miles from downtown Portland, and a few miles from the Maine Mall. The neighbors are extremely friendly and there are plenty of trails and roads nearby to go biking or running if you are into the outdoors. Again, I can't say enough good things about Lisa, her phenomenal dog, Bently, and the rental itself. The entire package is worth every penny."

  • Best accommodations ever.

"First let me say that Pauline and Cheryl were both so welcoming, warm and a real pleasure. The property offered so much more than a modern apartment. There is a covered patio, which was very useful when we wanted to get out of the sun but stay outside. The yard also offered a fire pit and lovely gardens. All this made for a wonderful vacation that we would like to repete. Also just a note, the shower was also awesome, Plenty of hot water and water pressure, those of you who have experienced the other end will know how appreciated this is! The beach is a short walk maybe 5 min. I really can't say enough good things about this property or the owners. Hope to be back in 2017."
