  • Beautiful sunsets and views across the Kennebec.

"Very well maintained and clean cottage. The second floor porch is the perfect spot for morning coffee, to enjoy a good book or take a nap. The breeze off the water was refreshing with all of the heat this week. Close to all our favorite spots: Popham beach, Anna's Waterfront Restaurant, Bath Sweet Shoppe and the Mustard Seed Bookstore."

  • Comfortable and spacious with everything we needed. Great value!

"Our group of 8 stayed in this home comfortably with plenty of room to spare. The beds were comfy, the kitchen items well-stocked, and the views from every deck were spectacular. Everything was clean and ready for us upon our arrival, including the pool and hot tub. The instructions and information in the welcome binder was accurate and helpful. There's a restaurant 5 minutes away (Rudy's) that delivers and the food was great. We also had takeout from a place about 10-15 minutes away that was outstanding, Elsmere BBQ and Wood Grill. This was a perfect home for our "home base" to visit many breweries and sights around the Portland area. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone considering it. Tia was very helpful."

  • An absolutely beautiful spot and house with space for everyone

"We just returned from a week at this beautiful home on Dingley Island in Harpswell, Maine. The vacation was planned around Bowdoin graduation, and we turned the week into a reunion for family and close friends. The house is beautiful and very comfortable, and the grounds are spectacular. The property manager was very helpful both in answering all questions as we planned our trip as well as helping with all our needs while we were there. We were fortunate with weather and used the tennis court, pool, hot tub, kayaks, paddle board and hobie cat. There was something for everyone and plenty of spaces for those who wanted to sneak off to read a book, get a little work done, or contemplate the beauty. We were all sad to leave and hope we can return again one day."

  • Wonderful location, extremely well-maintained, a real home away from home

"Wonderful accommodations! A killer view of the bay from both rear bedrooms upstairs, and the kitchen, dining, and family rooms on the first floor. A nice porch outside for those who want to watch the sunrise from outside. Well-outfitted with everything we needed for our stay, and very clean when we arrived. Located in a quiet area in a beautiful setting with lots of fall foliage viewing in the immediate area. A set of stairs leads from the rear of the house to the typical rocky Maine beach, which is great for early morning walks (check the tide charts to plan your beach excursions as the beach is fully covered at high tide). Look carefully and you'll find lots of sea glass! It was too cold (mid-October) and we had too little time to break out the kayaks supplied with the property, unfortunately, but a kayak ride around the bay would have been awesome. Perhaps next time! There are several great restaurants nearby, but be sure to check if they are open before heading out: some operate seasonally, closing after Columbus Day. Also remember to check the hours of operation, as some restaurants open after breakfast and close by 8pm (times may be seasonal). Cook's Corner and the Dolphin Marina were both great; the lobster rolls at Cook's were incredible. Downtown Brunswick - about 25 minutes away - is a nice college town with lots of unique shops and restaurants. There don't appear to be a lot of convenience stores close by, so be sure to stop at the Hannaford's Market in Brunswick on your way to the property; if you forget there's a nice little café (the School House?) about 10 minutes away on the road to Brunswick where you can get breakfast. Very happy with our rental, and would certainly not hesitate to rent again if our plans bring us to the Harpswell area again!"
