  • Private historic Cottage in Cape Porpoise

"My family and I rented this property the last week of August and had a lovely time. The owners have done a nice job modernizing the kitchen and baths without losing the cottage's old world charm. We especially enjoyed the outdoor shower which came in very handy after a hike on the mudflats at low tide! At high tide this area was perfect for swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking. We rented kayaks from a local vendor who delivered them right to the property. We made several trips out to the recently renovated Goat Island Light House and the surrounding islands. The wraparound porch offered spectacular views from early morning sunrises to the ever-changing landscape as the tides rolled in and out. We found few reasons to leave this property during our stay! Thanks Brad for being very helpful and easy to rent from. Hope to return in the future!"

"My husband and I just returned from staying a week at "The Upper Deck" To say this cottage is a hidden gem is an understatement. Bob and Jane Card are the perfect hosts.... they are a wealth of knowledge regarding Cape Porpoise and the surrounding areas. When asked they recommended places to go, things to see and places to eat. The cottage was immaculate, the rockers perfect for enjoying the spectacular view from the window , the kitchen fully furnished . The grounds are immaculately landscaped and the views from the dock are ever changing. We hope to return for another relaxing week in this quaint New England town. Thank you, Bob and Jane, for sharing your cottage with us...this vacation exceed all of our expectations!!"

  • Great updated house for our whole family

"Such a great house to spend our summer vacation. Plenty of space for the family to spread out. Cape Porpoise is such a quaint town too. Walked every morning down to the pier then stopped at the Cape Porpoise kitchen for a coffee. So relaxing and we all had a great week. One thing you may want to know is there is no AC. That was difficult a couple says as the temps were in the upper 80's . Other than that everything was great !"

  • Our family had a great vacation at cape Porpoise thanks to great hosts and an awesome house.

"Our family had a great time thanks to the hospitality of Debby and Bruce. They made us feel welcome right from the start. Even our dog Lilly was welcomed. The house is located on a great spot, has a great deck overlooking an inlet. There is so much to do, and you need not travel far. The house is an older home, but very well kept and undoubtedly has become a nice place for families."
