"From the very beginning, the rental process was great. Cyndy was quick to respond and easy to contact. The house is comfortable, newly renovated and ,most of all, spotlessly clean. The back deck is private and quiet an the back yard very spacious. The kitchen is well equipped ,if you so choose to cook. We opted for many meals out ,from the great sandwich place on the next corner to the 5 star White Barn Inn. The Maine Diner is just minutes down rte.9 . The back road to the beaches is the first intersection, so you can avoid going through downtown Kennebunkport. Cyndy has a beach permit to use at any of the beaches. But the location of this house makes it so easy to travel any day to Wells, York, Cape Porpoise ,Cape Elizabeth ,even Portland. Rte9, Rte 1and 95 are all options from this spot. Given it's location, the nightly rate is a very good deal in the Kennebunk area. I would not hesitate to recommend this home to family and friends."

  • Great comfortable value, prime location

"My family of two adults and two kids, ages 4 and 6, stayed here for a long weekend to attend a friend's wedding in Kennebunkport. The cottage was just as advertised, and there is also a great kids' play area - sand pit and play structure, as well as basketball hoop - in the central area. There is also a picnic table out back by the stream that we ate most meals at; breakfasts though were out front in the adirondacks in the bright sun. The location was excellent, with Parsons beach just down the road - like others, we drove instead of walked simply because we had kids (and when we were there, parking was fine) but the walk looked quite reasonable and goes along a very pretty tree-lined street alongside a horse farm. Kennebunk and Kennebunkport are very close indeed, and this was the best price we found for this area and had everything we needed. What was not clear from the property description and pics is that this is part of a group of vacation rental cottages - most now individually owned as condos, but still rented via a central house/office. That meant that - although less private - when we faced an issue - from needing an iron, to facing a clogged toilet (and no plunger) - there was on-site help available. It also meant the great play area was there for the kids to delight in. The road noise from Route 9 can be appreciable - the cottages are really right next to the road - but there's also a sweet stream out back and the frogs' chorus was beautiful, as was the morning birdsong. The kitchen is small but it's a cottage so that goes with the territory - and the nearby towns have an *abundance* of restaurants to complement your home cooking. All in all, great value, comfortable beds, great location. We would come here again."

  • Fantastic property - look no further

"My wife and I took our 2-year old daughter to this property in mid-February 2017 and absolutely loved it. We would absolutely stay here again in the future. The home is brand new construction, and has a fantastic, open layout on the first floor that is perfect for big gatherings. The second floor has four bedrooms and two well-appointed baths. The kitchen is large and has excellent appliances, if you plan to cook. There is a very large table that could comfortably accommodate 8. The location is excellent. You are about a 5-minute walk to Dock Square, which has restaurants, shopping, and beautiful views of the harbor. That said, the house is tucked away on a quiet side street. We have a 2-year old, and the house is kid-friendly. There are two tubs on the second floor for baths, and one of the bedrooms has a bunk beds. The house is decorated with the owner's own, beautiful artwork. The owners, who could not have been more lovely, have done a fantastic job creating a perfect vacation spot. You simply cannot go wrong with this rental. Book it and enjoy!"
