  • Best R & R Ever!

"We stayed at lovely Chickadee after our daughter's Kennebunkport wedding to further celebrate with our family as well as rest after all the excitement of the big wedding.. It proved to be the perfect place to do both. First of all the setting is idylic. We walked all around Cape Porpoise and enjoyed the peace and quiet away from the crowds of Kennebunkport. We walked to great restaurants, picked up a few groceries and terrific wine from the local grocery store - we hardly ever got into our cars. And the opening of the new store Farm & Table across the street is definitely worth a visit. Everything was so convenient. What we loved best about Chickadee was the beds! Deborah, the owner, provides you with a great night's sleep with high quality bedding, sheets and towels. With all six bedrooms filled we all awoke each morning raving about how well we slept! And coffee on the two screened porches was so lovely. Everyone wished we could have stayed another week and we are already talking about gathering there again as a family next year. Plenty of room, comfortable high quality furniture and a setting to melt your stresses away. You will love every moment of your stay!"

  • Charming, immaculate, well-located.

"Our stay at the Oliver Davis house was a wonderful experience. The home is historic and set in the historic district, near the harbor, shops, galleries, and restaurants. It is an easy and lovely walk for sight seeing, eating out, or shopping. The home is beautifully decorated, charming and immaculate. The owners provided a booklet of everything we needed to know about the house, nearby restaurants and activities. One sunny afternoon, we walked a few steps to board a sailboat which gives tours of the harbor and beyond. I enjoyed sitting in the secluded garden and reading. We loved walking to the Colony Hotel for drinks on the lawn, overlooking the harbor. We would most highly recommend this lovely home to friends and family."

  • Dream Location and Postcard Setting

"Like a postcard! This historical home is everything you could want for a stay in such a quaint town. You never have to get in the car, unless you are going to The Ramp for lobster rolls. Cozy rooms and a spectacular fireplace make for a romantic night in. A short 3 minute walk to every imaginable food type and fun shopping. The owners are so helpful and accommodating! I have stayed multiple times and will continue to do so in the future."

  • Perfect Spot

"The house is adorable and in the perfect spot for a vacation in Maine. It would be hard to find something like this elsewhere. I hope we get to enjoy it again sometime."
