  • So relaxing - perfect getaway!

"We recently stayed at this gorgeous spot for one of the most relaxing long weekends we've both had in a very long time. The house was perfect - we loved taking the boat in and out for lunches and dinners. It was so nice to come back to a quiet spot so we really could get away from it all. The restaurants in Kittery were unbelievable - we were both blown away as we had intended to experience the food scene in Portsmouth. Jim and Tudor were so kind to answer all of our questions as we were preparing for our trip. They even secured a boat for us to enjoy some lazy day cruising, too, which was the highlight of the trip for me. If you're looking for a quiet getaway, then look no further. This spot is incredible!"

  • Nice and cozy property close to town

"Nice little cottage with everything you could need for a little get away. The pool was very close to this unit without being so close that you could hear all the noise. Quick drive into Ogunquit or surrounding towns. Clean and well appointed as well. I am docking one star because we were only provided with one key and one gate access badge and the owner did not seem all that interested in getting us the second set that we should have had. This proved difficult when the two couples staying here split up. Overall, I would stay in this complex again."

  • Beautiful ~ Serene setting in a lovely house just off the beaten path.

"We had such a great week in Wells, Maine. The house itself is beautiful and offers plenty of space. The layout of the house is great. It is clean, the kitchen is really nice with more than ample working space. Spices, etc. all available in an updated kitchen with a lovely window to look across to a peaceful field. The house is located just off of US Route 1 and the ocean is easily gotten to via Wells and Ogunquit beaches. If you like antiquing bring a moving van! Many antique shops all along US 1. Shopping galore in downtown Ogunquit. Heading north we visited the Rachel Carson Wildlife Refuge which is about 15 minutes from the house. And just north of Wells is Kennebunk/Kennebunkport, also a lovely town to visit. Nancy & Parker were gracious hosts, checking in with us to make sure all was well. We had a few minor questions to ask and they got back to us promptly. And, if we had read the contract and rental agreement those questions would have been answered. :) But, still, they were most kind and made our stay a perfect retreat. We will definitely come back to the Tatnic House. Thank you for the memories and we look forward to making more. Bill and Colleen"

  • Great location, cozy condo!

"My husband and I stayed here after much research on places to stay in the Ogunquit area. We were not disappointed! The condo was perfect for 2 people and even had 2 beach chairs to bring to the beach. There is a common area that has a full sized washer and dryer to use during your stay which was great as we didn't have a ton of laundry to do when we got home. There was even a bookcase full of books that you can borrow during your stay! The best part were the views from the porch and from the bedroom where there were 2 recliner chairs to enjoy the view and relax or read. The entrance to the Marginal way and a trolley stop were right over the foot bridge---very convenient!!! Our week long stay was nice and quiet. Thanks Laurie! :)"
