  • Awesome house with all the details!

"I don't want to give away this gem because everyone will want to rent it! They have thought of everything for this rental. Great location on the lake. Great sheets and towels. Nice sized tv, kitchen, eating area. Loved the set up with 2 bedrooms upstairs and downstairs and the beds were very comfortable. Nice slider down cellar to bring our dogs in and out of. The wrap around deck area was perfect to sit on and it was so quiet and peaceful! The area by the water is big and set up perfectly. We loved trying out the paddle board and using the kayaks, even in October. We went fishing every day. Caught most fish at the islands to the South off the dock. Got lunch and dinner at yummy Lakeside Market and a dinner at Woody's was so delicious! We stayed for a long weekend, but would have loved to stay longer."

  • Wonderful stay on a beautiful property!

"What a special piece of property on goregous Sebago Lake! We had an excellent stay and enjoyed all that the Lone Star Camp had to offer - calm sandy beach, hammock, gas grill, kayaks, fire pit, dock, float and gorgeous views. The property is set higher up overlooking the lake with excellent sunsets and just enough privacy if that is what is wanted. And it's right across from Frye Island which was fun to explore (and there is a cute restaurant/general store)! This is a great place for a family gathering or if you have young kids as it's equipped to handle both. It came with a lot of the things you just don't want to pack - beach chairs, life jackets, cooking supplies, kids toys. The main house is rustic, but full of charm and it was perfect for what we wanted - the authentic Maine lake experience. The garage apartment offers more updated sleeping quarters and air conditioning if it happens to be hot (it was unusually warm the week we were there!). There is also two cribs if you have young kids which is awesome! Jen and Brian were excellent hosts, answering a lot of questions we had prior to our arrival. We hope to come back again next year! Thank you!"

  • Kalm Waters Cottage

"We had a very relaxing week at the Kalm Cottage in Lake Ossipee, NH. The house was very nice and inviting. The back porch was so nice to see the water at all times. We really loved the quietness of the street. We loved seeing the ducks and the loons on the lake. The kids and especially the dog loved the lake. We are hoping to stay a couple of extra days next year. My son really enjoyed his kayac on the lake."

  • Great getaway

"A ground of friends and myself all got together for a friendsgiving and were thoroughly impressed. The house is kept clean, it feels like home and the view couldn't be better. Not to mention the canoe that is available for use."
