  • Stonecroft was better than we could have imagined

"My wife and I have been vacationing in Maine on a lake every summer for the past 3 years. This year we wanted to try to bring a group of friends with us to show them how great it is. Stone croft was the perfect setting for our group. Right on the lake, with kayak's, paddle boat, etc. Large enough for a group our size (8) and probably a few more. It felt like home even though we were only there a short time. Dealing with the owners was extremely easy and they were always responsive with any questions beforehand or while we were there. Would definitely recommend."

  • A Great Place to Make Memories!

"Our family had a wonderful time here, kayaking, trying to catch fish, wading in the lake, relaxing in the hammock, eating picnics by the fire pit, playing with games & toys in the house, and more... The weather was perfect during our stay--warm during the day and cool at night. Just about everything we needed was available, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the location is close to town. We stayed here most of the time except for a visit to Dairy Queen, and spending a day at Parson's Beach. One disappointment was that we weren't expecting any pets to have been in the house, so we were very thankful for the newly installed carpet!"

  • Great place to stay with a family!

"Just coming off our second year of staying here, I can't say enough how wonderful it has been. This place has plenty of room for everybody in the family. It’s got large living room with a piano and bar, large fully equipped kitchen with open dining room and family room; all have views to the water. The bedrooms are spacious and also have views to the water. There are multiple outdoors spaces as well with a screened in porch, nice sun deck close to the house and another deck on the edge of the pool with a ramp down to a floating dock. Sitting on 4-1/2 acres there is plenty of lawn space and privacy and just minutes from the beach. Again I can't say enough how wonderful this place has been, all you need is food, your favorite beverages and time to relax and enjoy!"

  • Family fun

"We have just returned from our week at Turbat's Creek and we all had a wonderful time! The house more than met our needs for bedroom and bathrooms. Large dining table for all 8 of us. Large kitchen for our family group cooking. Beautiful deck for cocktails. Fire pit out back for out s'mores events. The location was great! The kids ( of all ages) loved the location on Turbat's Creek. From high tide to low and in between the was something to wonder at, explore and enjoy. Kennebunkport is a great town to be based at for trips to Portland (The Well at Jordan's Farm for fantastic food actually at a farm) to Gooseneck Beach to the Langsford Road lobster and fish store at Cape Porpoise for the freshest fish I have ever had! One warning.... part of the house has low ceilings which was a bit of a challenge for those over 6'. All in all a great family vacation."
