A beautiful quiet cabin in the woods overlooking a picturesque lake that borders ME and NH

              5 of 5
You only need to bring your clothes, food, and linens for a wonderful stay in a warm and cozy cabin in the woods. A canoe is provided for the lake and Internet is provided for your entertainment inside. A large porch overlooks everything. We enjoyed walks with our dogs in the woods and swimming in the lake. (We were there in summer!) The whole area is beautiful and there are numerous activities available.

              relaxation at the lake

              4 of 5
This is our third time staying at this property. Lots of room in this house. The stairs are step to the lake so too old or too young may not be good for them. They supply a beautiful canoe and Kayak to use. The lake is quiet. Listening to the Loons in the morning and evening is great. Great sunrise pictures. Be sure to visit Petermans maple ice cream down the street. Liquor is sold at the store down the street, and lunch at a little store, very conveniently located. Also go to Wooton Farm on route 16 in Ossipee, they have baby chickens, goats and they will let you milk the cows, and gather your own eggs. North Conway is an hour or so away. Hiking trails are near by, there is a mountain for any level. Bring bug spray for the night time and hiking. two fire pits here. Great kitchen for games and gathering.
