  • Fantastic House, No Compliants!

"This house is great for large groups or multiple families, there is plenty of space in the house, deck and in the yard. At one point we had 20 people (10 adults, 10 kids) there and it never felt cramped. John and Kim are very accommodating and it is obvious they want their guests to enjoy their stay. The property is exactly as pictured, the only thing I noticed that was different is there is Keurig single coffee maker instead of the coffee maker pictured in the kitchen photos. The location is great - just a short drive to downtown Ogunquit and the beach. There is a large deck and fire pit, and plenty of space for parking for several cars, yard space for kids to run, volleyball net, etc. Beach chairs, kayaks, outdoor games and indoor games are all provided. Everything (kitchen, linens, etc) was well stocked and house is well cared for. We were sad to head home and would definitely return to Ogunquit and rent this house again! A note in response to the poor review on the driveway: The gravel part of the driveway is pretty short, with the majority of the drive to the house being a dirt road (maybe ¼ mile). It’s a bit bumpy but we had no problem whatsoever in our rental car. It also rained several days that we were there – again no problems driving in and out."

  • Amazing water views, great location!

"This lovely home has one of the best ocean views you are going to find in the area. Calm and serene, away from the bustle of Long Sands Beach, but close enough to enjoy its sand and surf. It's about a mile or so from Long Sands in one direction and York Harbor Beach in the other. A long walk, short bike ride or 2 minute drive will get you to either. The front deck is the crown jewel of this home - perfect for morning coffee, afternoon snacks and evening cocktails - and any time in between. The backyard is also very nice, great for dogs and toddlers alike! The home is very comfortable and Pam makes sure you have what you need for a relaxing getaway. She is a pleasure to work with!"

  • Quiet, the comforts of home -- tucked away from the summer scene

"We enjoyed our one-week stay in August. Large outdoor space is very relaxing - beautiful plantings, birds and water feature. Inside, the owners have thought of everything - feels like your modest summer cottage away from home. Nice shower, comfortable seating in living room, full-function kitchen, beach chairs and umbrella, outdoor grill, TV with cable channels, washing machine, dishwasher, books and games. This was our first visit to Ogunquit and we didn't realize how jammed the main street gets in August. This location was a pleasant walk or bike-ride away from the crowds, but others may want to be closer to restaurants and activities. Not 5-stars from us only because there are a few low beams in living area - duck if you are over 6' 2" tall! (I'm 6' 4" tall)! Overall, great option for a couple seeking quiet retreat a bit off the beaten path."
