  • Perfect amount of room for a family of 5.

"This was our first time staying in Summer Village. My family of 5 ( 2 adults, 3 kids ages 11, and 6 year old twins ) absolutely loved this cottage! It was very clean and decorated in nice warm colors. We did not expect them to have it stocked with a lot of supplies, (i.e. dish soap, hand soap laundry det. toilet paper....) it was very nice to find. Cindy was always very prompt in getting back to me with any questions. We had a little trouble with the washer, but she sent someone over that day and it all worked out. Plenty of glasses and dishes, and especially some plastic cups if you have younger kids. The WiFi was great to have also. The pools where the kids favorite! We found that the family pool at the front of the resort was the least crowded. ....We did have a couple little snags that have nothing to do with the cottage itself. The " Game Room " at the barn which was somewhere we retreated to one rainy day, we found most of the games did not work. Nor did the TV, or Wii, or the pool tables....We did ask the attendant at the desk , but she said she knew nothing about electronics, and we should find some "young person to help us out." The only other thing was their is a pretty large mosquito population. We would get eaten alive whenever we went outside. Probably due to being surrounded by vegetation. Nothing the Cottage owner can do about that, but we did find a can of "OFF" in the bathroom cabinet which we where very grateful for. Overall the cottage was great and Palmer's where fantastic to deal with. Thank you Cindy!"

  • LOVED IT!

"We were an extended family group of nine, including two children ages 9 and 6. The two houses were well equipped and accommodated us quite well and the combination of the pool and the nearby beach was everything we hoped for. You really can't beat a seaside walk in the morning followed by a dip in the pool and then a full beach day after that. Not to mention great attractions nearby such as rare book store in Wells and Rachel Carson wildlife sanctuary. Appliances were all good, everything worked, and the beauty of the surroundings and the quiet were all very pleasing. We were charmed by the area and especially liked the sea roses everywhere near the water. We have great photographs. Helen the owner was most helpful and we appreciated her input. She even left bug spray for us on the front porch! It was a memorable vacation for all of us and we definitely plan to return!"

  • Family fun

"We have just returned from our week at Turbat's Creek and we all had a wonderful time! The house more than met our needs for bedroom and bathrooms. Large dining table for all 8 of us. Large kitchen for our family group cooking. Beautiful deck for cocktails. Fire pit out back for out s'mores events. The location was great! The kids ( of all ages) loved the location on Turbat's Creek. From high tide to low and in between the was something to wonder at, explore and enjoy. Kennebunkport is a great town to be based at for trips to Portland (The Well at Jordan's Farm for fantastic food actually at a farm) to Gooseneck Beach to the Langsford Road lobster and fish store at Cape Porpoise for the freshest fish I have ever had! One warning.... part of the house has low ceilings which was a bit of a challenge for those over 6'. All in all a great family vacation."

  • Amazing views and great location.

"We had a great time at this condo in Perkins Cove. The condo offers a great location to walk over to Perkins Cove, and go on the Marginal Walkway (amazing to walk or jog on), the restaurants and shops, as well as take the trolley up the hill to the downtown area. The owner had beach chairs which was a nice perk, and we really enjoyed walking to a few of the beaches (1/2 mile) on the Marginal Walkway, which with the low tide were a great option compared to the other main beach which is a bit more crowded. The views from the bedroom can't be overstated, it is really amazing and we enjoyed coffee in the recliners there each morning with the windows open, as well as a cocktail on the front porch in the evening. Great place, we loved it!"
