  • Perfect Location!

"If you're looking for a beautiful, spacious home just minutes from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, you have found it. Nestled among the towering trees, the spacious deck with its fire pit, barbecue grill, and peekaboo glimpses of the water makes it difficult to leave. In fact, you'll find yourself looking forward to coming "home" after a day of exploring the island. We picked wild blueberries behind the house and made our way down to the shore during low tide. And, if you plan to prepare meals at home, this kitchen lacks nothing. The 3rd floor deck off the master bedroom provides another inviting space for morning coffee with its glimpses of the waters below. For travelers staying in the fall and winter months, I'm sure the views are amazing! We stayed in the very hot month of July and were thankful for the air conditioning in the master bedroom. Thank you, Bonnie, for sharing your treasure with us. Our family sure hopes to return one day!"

  • Fantastic vacation

"The cabin had everything we needed, all we had to bring was food and suitcase. We kayak and fished all three lakes, ate blueberries from the shore, roasted hot dogs over the open fire, swam and snorkled. The bass fishing was amazing. We saw loons with their young and other ducks. Took a walk down the road to see a deer standing in another roadway staring at us. Watched the red squirrels everyday and had quality family time together. The cabin was immaculate, very welcoming and peaceful."

  • Family Vacation

"Our second time at Sea Escape. Best Location in Southern Maine. Great weather and memories. Property had been upgraded since our last visit. Would love to see a gas grill and some upgraded kitchen supplies. But still an awesome place to stay."

  • Ocean breezes, shooting stars and so much more!

"This was our 3rd year staying at 167 Beach Ave! I cannot say enough great things our vacations at this beautiful house in a spectacular location. The views from the downstairs and upstairs deck make coffee in the morning and wine in the evenings heavenly. Watching shooting stars during the night is an extra bonus. The bedrooms are spacious, well designed and comfortable. There are too many nice touches to describe. Adults and kids alike were able to find their special places to relax after days at the beach and in town. This year - there were even bikes available for guest use to go in and out of town. The owners are gracious and always available for questions. The only reason I was reluctant to write a review was because I didn't want to share the secret of this great house - since I want to make sure I can reserve again next year!!"
