  • This is a hidden gem

"This home has all the comforts you would want, clean, comfortable and coziness which is what a Maine place on the lake is all about. Close to a lot of attractions, but spent most of the time at the lake house, fishing off the dock, swimming, and the use of the owners canoes. Lake is clean and was great for our two young children. We will come back"

  • Friends n family get away

"7 adults 8 kids ages 6-12 Was fantastic! The entire house was recently renovated, very nice! Three levels making plenty of room for everyone! 15 showers at night... Lots of hot water! We cooked in for all meals, big kitchen room for all! Beds were comfortable, cotton sheets, ceiling fan in all bedrooms were great!! A 3 min walk to a beautiful beach. The low tides leave a huge hard packed beach fantastic for walking and running. If you sleep through the sunrise, you've missed the best part of the day! We stayed on the beach until the tide came in then we traveled to other close by areas! We brought a wagon to help carry beach chairs, which were provided, to the beach. The York Farmers Market was great! Don't skip the scones at the first vendor, they'll be gone when you go back!! Great house for a large group!"

  • Family fun

"We have just returned from our week at Turbat's Creek and we all had a wonderful time! The house more than met our needs for bedroom and bathrooms. Large dining table for all 8 of us. Large kitchen for our family group cooking. Beautiful deck for cocktails. Fire pit out back for out s'mores events. The location was great! The kids ( of all ages) loved the location on Turbat's Creek. From high tide to low and in between the was something to wonder at, explore and enjoy. Kennebunkport is a great town to be based at for trips to Portland (The Well at Jordan's Farm for fantastic food actually at a farm) to Gooseneck Beach to the Langsford Road lobster and fish store at Cape Porpoise for the freshest fish I have ever had! One warning.... part of the house has low ceilings which was a bit of a challenge for those over 6'. All in all a great family vacation."

  • Wonderful experience!

"My husband and I stayed here with our 12 year old twin boy and girl and 4 year old son. The house is well equipped with toys and games for the kids and Carla has beautifully decorated the entire home. Our kids were very happy with the bunkbed and trundle bed and my husband and I were very comfortable in the queen size bed in the loft. We were very happy the entire week we stayed here and Carla is so sweet and accommodating in every way possible. We were able to grill in the backyard and use the fire pit to make Smore's which was really fun. I highly recommend staying here with your family and it's in close proximity to the beach and boardwalk."
