  • Attention to detail was much appreciated

"My mother and I stayed at the Artist's House recently on a trip and were so grateful for the ease with which we could slip in to such a comfy space. Nancy was easy to reach and very helpful with making the details of getting there simple and straightforward. The house had lots of little touches that not every rental home has. It is clear that Nancy imagines what she would like/need if she were a traveller staying there. And it was very clean and cozy."

  • WE LOVED OUR STAY!

"July 2016 WE LOVED OUR STAY!! We got married on a Friday and the house was perfect for our international and long distance guests and us before they arrived. She left us complimentary champagne!! How thoughtful!! The house is exactly as the pictures depict and the description says. In fact, it's a bit larger than shown. That enabled us to do some last minute planning and assembly of welcome bags and bridesmaids bags. So convenient. The location allowed us to go grocery shopping, get last minute toiletries, and get to the venue easily. We were blessed with a perfect wedding and our stay at Traveler's House helped make that happen. Thank you, Nancy for the detailed instructions and quick response to questions. We would definitely stay again and recommend Traveler's to others!! THANK YOU!!"

  • Vista Country Home - A Piece of Heaven!

"We were welcomed on the driveway with a "Welcome Denise & Family" sign, then greeted at the house by Melissa (owner). She had fresh flowers on the dining room table, showed us all the ins and outs of the house. The grounds were very beautiful and well maintained. The walking trail in the woods was just as described and the little extras were great! There were member cards for the local grocery stores, brochures on surrounding attractions, restaurant menus, Gettysburg driving tapes of the battlefields. Immaculately clean! Not a dustbunny to be found. The cable/satellite was recently disconnected and antenna installed. We had a problem getting more than 2 channels in and called Chris and Melissa and Chris came out and fixed it right away even though it was a dark and windy evening. The only things we needed to buy or bring was our personal food. It was a very centralized location. 30 minutes from Gettysburg, 60 minutes from Hershey and Lancaster PA. I would highly recommend this property to anyone interested as we will be keeping their number for future bookings."

  • Family Vacation

"Several members of my extended family decided we were interested in a vacation to Washington DC and Gettysburg. We have rented houses before because we love to all be under one roof and be able to make meals together. This house in Damascus was between both tourist sites and didn't disappoint. It was comfortable and convenient for everything we did. Our ages ranged from 78 to 4 and the accommodations worked for all of us. There were two things that could have made it better. A full bathroom on the first floor and a hand rail on the front porch steps. The horse barn and hot tub were a nice touch! The beds were very comfortable and even the pillows were nice! The kitchen has everything you'd ever need and more."
