  • Absolutely wonderful!

"Our sailboat racing crew just spent five nights in this lovely home! The open floor layout of the home is excellent for mingling with the group, all rooms are spacious, the wonderfully appointed kitchen lends itself to group meals, the yard and driveway are extremely accommodating and the large front porch lends itself to relaxing! We will definitely hope to stay in this wonderful house the next time we are in Annapolis!!"

  • Like our home away from home in Annapolis!

"This is the 3rd or 4th time we have stayed in Jackie's apartment and since our son still has 2 1/2 years left at USNA it won't be the last. The location a couple of blocks off the main street and 10 minute walk to Gates 1 and 3 of USNA makes it ideal for us. When we travel to Annapolis it is usually my husband and me with our 17 year old son and by the time our Mid joins us, 4 full grown adults is just too much for a hotel room. The price of this entire apt is comparable to a downtown hotel room and certainly more economical than getting 2 rooms. This apartment gives us enough space to hang out and the bedroom allows some to go sleep early or take a nap while others can stay up or socialize. The towels and sheets are high quality and there are plenty of blankets in the closet to keep everyone warm. This trip our son brought a friend along so we used the roll away bed and the 5 of us still had plenty of room. The water heater provided plenty of hot water for the 5 of us. It was pretty cold (upper 30's)when we arrived for this Army Navy Game weekend and Jackie had left the heat set at 60 degrees. It took a little bit for the heating units to come up to a more comfortable temperature but it stayed comfortably warm for the rest of the weekend. It felt great when we returned from the game in Baltimore after sitting in the near freezing weather all day at the game! This apartment is not decorated like it is a rental property but more like it's a home. This unit is different than other rentals we have used in that Jackie always has tissues, TP, paper towels, hand soap, dish detergent, and usually even a little coffee on hand so you can just show up and have all the essentials. We are usually out and about and our visits are usually short so we have never really used the kitchen (who can resist all the great restaurants in DTA?!) but it would be easy to prepare a nice meal with all the necessary items available. The wifi works great. We have had good luck taking our chances with street parking and on occasion have paid to park in the lot that is one block up the street. We have always stayed in the front apt but it is nice to know there is another one in the back in case this one is booked. Overall this is a great place, Jackie is very responsive to messages and we are glad we found this rental at the beginning of our son's time at USNA. I now feel like it is our "home" when we visit Annapolis!"

  • Really comfy and great Spa Creek location

"Owner was super friendly and was available immediately to answer my check in question. Listing was accurate and rental well-maintained. Simply, this listing is the reason why I regularly use VRBO. Fair prices and so much better than a hotel room!"
