  • Adorable and Clean

"We were fortunate to find this gem as we planned for a visit to love on our plebe. The cottage was perfect. We had another midshipman's parents stay with us and it worked out well. We even had a few Mids over after the football game. We were able to cook for them and there was plenty of space to accommodate dinner, laughter and conversation. Something we could not have done from a hotel room. The sun room on the side of the house was perfect for them to relax and the parents were able to sit out there too and enjoy their stories. The bay was beautiful and so close. We also like the convenience of getting to the academy. There is only one bathroom, but that was not a problem with our family and the couple who stayed with us. We easily made it work. There is not a lot of room a long beds in the double bed bedrooms, but we were only in the bedrooms to sleep and this was not a problem for us. The kitchen is also small, but we accommodated all our guest and it was fun and homey maneuvering around each other as we prepared the food. There is also a nice screened in detached room in the backyard. We did not use this area, but if it would have been warmer on our visit, I know we would have. The owners are local and easy to access and they are ready to help. We will definitely return. Thank you for sharing your home."

  • Great location!

"Very comfortable home in a great location within easy walking distance to the waterfront. Nice waterfront views from the rooftop of the building! The apartment was cozy and well-equipped, and the owner was a joy to work with. We hope to stay again next time we're in the area!"

  • Unforgettable Family Birthday Getaway

"We had the lovely opportunity to spend four days at Casey and Kristjana's Annapolis home. They were wonderful to work with, and Kristjana went so far as to be sure we were completely at ease with having a young baby with us. She took care of everything ensuring we had what we needed for a toddler! Our visit was a surprise birthday getaway for our oldest daughter. We used the owner's recommendations for seafood (Anne Arundel Seafood Company) several times. Their home is absolutely gorgeous with the best views one could possibly wish for. We had brisk sunny days and our three granddaughters played and fished on the dock as well as in the yard. Sleeping accommodations were great - we had everything we needed. We managed to slip away one day and celebrate in Annapolis with sightseeing at the Naval Academy, lunch and walking around the historic town. If you love the bay area and want to just get away, be sure to consider this gem! We cannot recommend enough. You will find yourself sitting on those most comfy sofas just staring out the big windows and relaxing more than you can know. Thank you again to such a wonderful, thoughtful family who made our visit a truly relaxing vacation."

  • Perfect weekend getaway for a group or family

"We had a group of seven (all friends from college) stay at this residence for three nights and we could not have been happier with the accommodations. The property is somewhat secluded at the end of long driveway that has two other houses on it. The house has five very spacious bedrooms and total of three and half baths. The kitchen is connected to the family room so that people who are cooking do not feel secluded from others in the next room. There is a huge screened in porch on the back looking out towards the water. Not only does it have some furniture to sit on, but there is a large picnic table which can be used for eating meals as well. The dock is quite long and relatively new. Having access to a fire pit was key to our enjoyment of the property. We sat by the fire pit all three nights. There was ample parking. The house was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again in the future."
