  • Plebe Parent Weekend R&R

"We rented Royal Folly for Plebe Parent Weekend. It was perfect for us. We have a rather large family, and we all were able to sleep comfortably. The house was beautifully decorated and very well kept. The owners were very kind and easy to work with. The location was perfect as we could walk to anything worth seeing in Annapolis. I would not hesitate to recommend listing to anyone who asked me."

  • Excellent

"We had a great time and enjoyed the house very much. The hot tub was in high demand and a few people used the kayaks as well. The house had everything we needed and more. Paul was very helpful through detailed emails. The fact that he was around when we arrived was also much appreciated."

  • Amazing, Relaxing Beach Getaway so Close to DC!

"We had a phenomenal long weekend at this house - 6 adults, 5 kids. House is immediately across the street from the beach, lots of sand toys, chairs and mats. Perfect for families with young children, the beach is small enough to keep everyone contained but space for everyone to run around and swim. Front sun room is by far the best room in the house - we ate all of our meals and spent most of our indoor time there. 5th bedroom is a sleeping alcove without an actual door but that works out fine for us, we put the two oldest kids there. Highlight recommend this, we will be back next year! It's so close to DC (we live downtown), less than an hour."

  • Anniversary trip

"My husband and I stayed here for our 25th anniversary. Although it took a bit to adjust to the confined spaces on the boat, we had a great time. Being able to sit on the deck to relax, read and eat meals, made it so much better than staying in a hotel room. The views were great and we were entertained by the activities of the small marina. The nights were very quiet, even on the weekends, and we were lulled to sleep by the gentle rocking of the boat. We appreciated being able to use the marina's facilities for showering, so we didn't have to navigate the small shower on the boat. We loved touring and dining in Annapolis, then retreating to the boat in Eastport, a 1 mile walk. When we weren't up to the walk, we took a water or bike taxi - which were also great experiences. When visiting here, we recommend getting to know Eastport, visiting the Naval Academy, shopping, and eating at the Iron Rooster (order the omelettes and homemade poptarts, can't wait to go back here). We went on one of the boat tours, but enjoyed the much less expensive water taxi just as much. It was a unique experience and a great trip!"
