  • Great Vacation House

"This was our second time staying at Megan and Jon's property while visiting our daughter. We frequently stay in VRBO properties and this is one of the best if not the very best. It's extremely well located and is convenient to everything you would want to see in historic Annapolis. It's also nicely decorated and well equipped with everything you need, so unlike some rental properties it really feels like home. Parking is available but we found that it's much easier to just use Uber, which is readily available. We will definitely stay again, and would recommend this property to anyone looking for a great property in Annapolis."

  • Warm and inviting retreat

"We were looking for a place to stay in Annapolis in order to visit with our Midshipman and extended family in the area. The pictures on the website do it justice. It is open and warm and wonderful for families big and small! There is room to spread out with beautiful bathrooms for each bedroom. The bedroom off the kitchen was perfect for our elderly mother because she didn't have to use the stairs and it was equipt with handicapped bars in the shower. The backyard is beautiful. We were there in the fall and we had bikes to use, but with the cozy fireplace we chose to sit and read. I am an avid baker and the kitchen had everything I needed to cook for my large family. It really exceeded our expectations. I felt as if I was home. It was truly a great place!! We have already planned our get together for next year! (PS. Debbie knew that we were without a car one day she picked up dinner that we ordered and brought it to us!) She will go beyond the call! Plus, she's a lab lover, so I knew she was good person:)"

  • Great stay.

"We had a nice stay. House was perfect for what we wanted - to be close to USNA but not in downtown. We would definitely stay again."

  • Roomy and convenient

"This house was perfect for a college reunion of six families - 10 adults and 5 children (ages 5-8). It was was clean and spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to relax. The patio seating area in the fenced backyard gave a nice secluded feeling. And the basement area was a huge hit with the kids. Most importantly, the location was great! It was an easy commute to outdoor activities (kayaking), the metro station to DC, an awesome mall, the Annapolis harbor (including the Naval Academy), and tons of bars and restaurants. The one unanticipated aspect of this house was that it's not what we consider a traditional rental property, but rather the family's main residence. As such, there are a number of personal things around (pictures on walls, stocked pantry, etc.). While we didn't anticipate this, it did not impact us. The house has a wonderful, comfortable feel and is an easy place to relax. The owner was very responsive to questions both before and after the booking. A few weeks before we arrived the owner did contact us to let us know that the development pool was no longer available to renters. This was a little disappointing since it was VERY hot when we were there, but this is not a deal breaker. It's a great house and we would definitely rent again!"
