  • Great family friendly place to stay while in Annapolis

"We stayed here the weekend of September 10, 2016 for my 20th Reunion weekend. We had 5 adults and 3 kids, ages 6, 3 and 2. My Academy roommate and I rented the house with our families and found it the perfect place for our visit. House: The kitchen was well stocked, making it easy for my roommate to cook us and two other families with kids dinner one night. The kids loved playing in the basement. The kitchen was perfect for entertaining. My roommate's husband loved the grill. Unfortunately it was 96 degrees that weekend so we didn't enjoy the deck out back as much as we would have had it been cooler. Bedrooms and bathrooms: plenty for our families. The first floor couches were also comfortable, for those who have a snoring husband.... There were two sets of washer and dryers. We used both, having little kids it was very convenient. Parking: Both families drove and there was plenty of room on the parking pad and in the cul-de-sac. Location: Easy walk to downtown Annapolis and USNA. It took less than 20 minutes, if the weather hadn't been so hot it would have been a shorter walk. Also close to some cute places to eat in Eastport. Easy to drive the back way to the stadium, so you don't have to deal with the downtown Annapolis traffic. The owner is great and accessible. Lots of information provided at the house. The house was easy to access with a code for the door. Nice if you have mulitple people so you don't have to wait for someone with keys. We had a very enjoyable stay. Nice place to relax after a hot day walking around Annapolis, the Yard and after the football game."

  • LOVE LOVE Beautifully renovated historic Annapolis cozy get-a-way

"Even better than the photos! What a lovely gem, I wish it were mine. CLEAN CLEAN. Historic Annapolis outside your door was so fun to explore yet quick trip if we wanted to come back home to rest again. Easy friendly communication with the owners, they were very accommodating. We had a long drive to arrive near midnight and the place was perfect. We pulled right up on the curb and easily unlocked the door with the code provided. Stepped into a tasteful classy living room that was warm and cozy. Gorgeous yet comfortable...It was like we were home. Everything was easy to figure out, unlike other places we have rented in historic Annapolis. Perfectly appointed, had everything we needed and wanted..including parking passes! Lovely gas stove for ambiance and warmth. Bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean and comfortable... Thought was taken when designing the renovation even down to the placement of mirrors on the wall. We slept so well on the comfy beds and all were able to gather at the dining table for meals. Thank you for making the most of your beautiful space and keeping some of the historic charm with modern appointments. We will definitely visit you again!"

  • Anniversary trip

"My husband and I stayed here for our 25th anniversary. Although it took a bit to adjust to the confined spaces on the boat, we had a great time. Being able to sit on the deck to relax, read and eat meals, made it so much better than staying in a hotel room. The views were great and we were entertained by the activities of the small marina. The nights were very quiet, even on the weekends, and we were lulled to sleep by the gentle rocking of the boat. We appreciated being able to use the marina's facilities for showering, so we didn't have to navigate the small shower on the boat. We loved touring and dining in Annapolis, then retreating to the boat in Eastport, a 1 mile walk. When we weren't up to the walk, we took a water or bike taxi - which were also great experiences. When visiting here, we recommend getting to know Eastport, visiting the Naval Academy, shopping, and eating at the Iron Rooster (order the omelettes and homemade poptarts, can't wait to go back here). We went on one of the boat tours, but enjoyed the much less expensive water taxi just as much. It was a unique experience and a great trip!"
