  • Perfect accommodations for our family

"This beautiful 1910 home was perfect for our family to stay in while we joined together for our daughters wedding. The home was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. There were 10 of us and the home had plenty of room for all of us. Cambridge is an adorable town and the location is perfectly located and only a short walk to downtown. The charm of this home caused us to not want to leave."

  • We will be Back!

"Baer Necessities is a wonderful oasis for a weekend getaway or longer. Beautiful property and home with every amenity you could ever need, spacious and comfortable for all ages. We returned for a second year in November to find a new kitchen, what a treat. The location is on the water with a dock extending out, perfect to sit and watch the early morning waterfowl parade or a colorful sunset. Nearby is the center of Cambridge on the Choptank which offers a rich history to explore, or head south to the Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge for a drive or a trail walk, or head north to the town of Easton with a pretty town center that is easy to walk around. There is plenty to explore in this part of the Eastern Shore, and Baer Necessities is a perfect place to stay. We will be back next year!"

  • So much for kids to do and great owner

"This house was great for our family and Hap was just a pleasure to work with. Secluded waterfront area allowed for endless water activities and fun for our kids (9-15) including swimming, kayaking, paddle boat, etc. we didn't even have time to use the basketball and volleyball facilities. House is spacious and nice enough to get the job done but not overly fancy. Make sure kids wear swim shoes to swim since the bay water can have sharp stones, clams, etc."

  • Wonderful Experience

"My friends and I rented Cherry Point for a birthday celebration. We were a group 20+ folks ranging from mid-20s to early-30s. Swimming in both the pool and the Choptank were wonderful. The house was clean and spacious with a ton of character. The large property gives a sense of privacy. I am actively looking for an excuse to rent the place again. If you find yourself at Cherry Point make you sure you get up early enough to have coffee on the dock around day break. Finally, the agent and the housekeeper were both very easy to work with and pleasant."
