  • Beautiful house/great location

"This is a beautiful house and great location. It is very clean, nicely decorated, and the kitchen is well stocked with plates, glasses, utensils, and pans. The house is right on Main Street near shops selling clothing, ice cream, bake goods, etc. It's directly across the street from a coffee shop that also sells wine. I walked to the Marina (about .5 miles) to sightsee and ate at Waterman's restaurant - great food. [Thank you Patty for the recommendation on the rib platter!] Everyone in Rock Hall is extremely nice! Rick & Patty are very responsive to questions about the rental. Patty personally showed me around the place when I checked in. Great location if you're racing the Rock Hall or Waterman triathlons. I highly recommend and will stay there again in the future."

  • Anniversary trip

"My husband and I stayed here for our 25th anniversary. Although it took a bit to adjust to the confined spaces on the boat, we had a great time. Being able to sit on the deck to relax, read and eat meals, made it so much better than staying in a hotel room. The views were great and we were entertained by the activities of the small marina. The nights were very quiet, even on the weekends, and we were lulled to sleep by the gentle rocking of the boat. We appreciated being able to use the marina's facilities for showering, so we didn't have to navigate the small shower on the boat. We loved touring and dining in Annapolis, then retreating to the boat in Eastport, a 1 mile walk. When we weren't up to the walk, we took a water or bike taxi - which were also great experiences. When visiting here, we recommend getting to know Eastport, visiting the Naval Academy, shopping, and eating at the Iron Rooster (order the omelettes and homemade poptarts, can't wait to go back here). We went on one of the boat tours, but enjoyed the much less expensive water taxi just as much. It was a unique experience and a great trip!"

  • Even Better than Expected

"A group of 4 couples and one young child stayed at Bay Dreams to attend a wedding at the Chesapeake Environmental Center. I was on the fence as to whether to stay at a hotel or rent a home, and am so happy we opted for the home rental! It was cheaper than the hotels with the number of people we had and allowed us to save money by grocery shopping instead of relying on restaurants. The house was completely charming and had more than enough room for our group, although we spent most of our time on the patio and in the kayaks/rowboat! The couple with the young son were able to stay in the addition side of the home, giving them a bit more privacy and quiet. Bernadette and Joe were so responsive, easy to work with and returned my security deposit the day after I left - much faster than I expected. I definitely recommend staying here and will rent the home again should I ever find myself back in the area."

  • Perfect group home!

"We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Annapolis this weekend. Christine was accommodating and had the house in perfect condition upon our arrival. It was super clean and had the perfect amount of sitting space for dinners on the deck and playing cards in the Livingroom. We were 10 people looking to enjoy my birthday weekend. The pool and the hot tub as well as the grill were perfect. It would have been great to have more than one lounge chair poolside but the upright chairs were great. She even left us coolers on the deck. The fridge was cleared so we had plenty of room for cooking all weekend. And we were only 1 mile from downtown! We had a ton of fun. I would highly, highly recommend."
