  • Wonderful Family Vacation Spot on the Chesapeake Bay

"This was a fantastic setting for our extended family to gather for our milestone birthday celebration. It was the perfect spot to make memories and share lots of laughter during our stay. Location, location, location. We were able to enjoy an idyllic setting on the water yet it was only a short drive into town to enjoy shops, waterfront walkways, a beach and dining. Crabbing was so much fun for everyone, we had a crab feast every night as we sat on the deck overlooking the water and enjoying the beautiful sunsets. The house had a great layout which was important when you have lots of people staying with you. The two living areas came in handy for the little ones to play on one side while the adults hung out on the other. We have so many great pictures of relaxing in the hammocks and enjoying the waterfront as the crab boats went by. At night we roasted marshmallows by the fire while the little ones ran around with glow sticks. Mike, the owner was so helpful and easy to work with. His suggestions of places to go as we planned our celebration were spot on. We had internet issues that he tirelessly tried to remedy but we survived. His goal was to insure our trip would be special and it was. The picture on my desktop showing the view of the waterfront at sunset with my 4 year old grandson looking out makes me smile every time. We rent from VRBO/HomeAway often and would definitely come back again."

  • Perfect location!

"We were in Annapolis for a long weekend to attend our USNA 10 year reunion. The listing was exactly as described and the house was spotless. We definitely wanted proximity to restaurants and the Academy and were willing to sacrifice space. But to be completely honest the rooms were even bigger than they looked in the pictures. The downstairs couch is now a pullout which was also nice. I also have to comment on the fact that the ceilings are a little low but we didn't have any issue since we are all under 6 feet tall! Sherry is amazing. She was very accommodating with our check out time and quick to answer any emails/questions! If you stay at this house you have to go to Iron Rooster for breakfast/brunch (make reservations early on Open Table or you will wait an hour) and Dry 85 for cocktails and dinner. Thanks so much for a great weekend and we will definitely be back again!!! GO NAVY! BEAT ARMY! Veronica Anderson"

  • Perfect spot for a family reunion

"We rented this cottage over Labor Day weekend as a gathering spot for family living as near as Baltimore and as far as England. The house and the location met and exceeded our expectations. Not only was it conveniently located (Baltimore, Annapolis, BWI), and comfortable, but it had so many things to keep people of all ages entertained. Our group kayaked, crabbed, lounged, hung out in the hot tub, took walks, played board games around the sizable picnic table on the screened porch, played ping pong and fooseball in the basement, cracked crabs (again around that big table), grilled, and just had fun being together taking in the awesome views. We were so busy enjoying the activities and the creek that I am happy to say no one turned on the TV. The basement, with a variety of sofas was the perfect place for the kids to all sleep together. The owners were very responsive to all our needs and went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. Obviously, they love the house and the location on Dividing Creek as witnessed by the care that they put into this treasure. We hope to return soon."

  • Beautiful house/great location

"This is a beautiful house and great location. It is very clean, nicely decorated, and the kitchen is well stocked with plates, glasses, utensils, and pans. The house is right on Main Street near shops selling clothing, ice cream, bake goods, etc. It's directly across the street from a coffee shop that also sells wine. I walked to the Marina (about .5 miles) to sightsee and ate at Waterman's restaurant - great food. [Thank you Patty for the recommendation on the rib platter!] Everyone in Rock Hall is extremely nice! Rick & Patty are very responsive to questions about the rental. Patty personally showed me around the place when I checked in. Great location if you're racing the Rock Hall or Waterman triathlons. I highly recommend and will stay there again in the future."
