  • Best Vacation Ever!

""My family and I can't say ENOUGH good things about this house. It truly is a slice of Heaven. Not only did it accommodate all of our needs with its spacious and extremely clean rooms, it exceeded all of our expectations. Michelle's attention to detail is evident throughout the property; beautifully-kept and welcoming interior, comfortable beds and furniture, well-equipped kitchen, seemingly brand new beach cruiser bikes, kayaks, paddle board, game room, pool, and dock on a quiet cove. Perfect for kayaking and paddle boarding. We had the best time catching, cooking and eating crabs. The views can't be beat! With a beautiful paddock in the front of the house and the water in the back, you'll be torn over which way to look. Thank you Michelle! We hope to return ASAP!""

  • Great location; beautiful home

"We had a handful of friends and family attending a wedding in St. Michael's and rented the Thomas Harrison House for a long weekend. It was perfect! The location was great (close enough to everything that I was able to leave the wedding to check on my kiddo and walk back before dinner). The home was authentic with lots of cute nooks and spaces to discover. My favorite moment of the trip was all of us hanging out on the patio on rocking chairs having morning coffee. Great amenities and we would absolutely rent again. My only complaint is that third floor was HOT during mid-July and the AC didn't cool that space effectively."

  • Best vacation EVER!!!!

"I can honestly say that this was the best, most relaxing vacation that we have ever had! My husband and his parents grew up in Maryland. We were looking for a quiet, relaxing place to vacation with his parents. This was it. There was plenty of space to accommodate our two kids and his parents. The girls slept upstairs on the daybeds in the game room. There was bedding provided for the daybeds. There was an outside bathroom and shower that was connected to the master bathroom. This was awesome to have when spending time in the pool. It kept water from being tracked through the house. The girls also showered in that bathroom after swimming. The screened in porch with a hot tub overlooking the bay was outstanding! The kitchen was fully equipped and even had some food items in the fridge and spices in the cabinet. There were crab pots that we put off the dock. We caught 10 very large crabs. The kitchen had a crab pot for cooking the crabs and all utensils needed for cooking and eating the crabs. There was also a grill and fire pit. The dock was gorgeous and perfect for sitting and relaxing, as well as fishing. The guys lived on the dock fishing and crabbing to their hearts' content. There were kayaks that the guys used on the bay. The pool was the cleanest pool I have ever seen. There was a diving board and lots of floats and pool noodles. The kids loved it! Probably the best part of this charming place was all the care and attention that Roger had taken to little details. There was a vase of fresh cut flowers with a handwritten card on the counter when we got there. There was a bottle of chilled wine in the fridge. The chalkboard had a welcome message on it. There were games, music, and movies. Roger had even put up the NC flag (our state flag) along with the Maryland state flag and US flag in honor of our stay. There were beach towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry soap, coffee filters, lighters, flashlights, fishing poles, bikes, etc provided. We didn't need anything besides our clothes and some food. Roger was so friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed talking with him throughout our stay. There was even a mini fridge outside that was stocked with water and beer. This stay was perfect and relaxing. We saw some of the most gorgeous sunsets that we have ever seen. Thanks so much, Roger, for being such an impeccable and gracious host. Looking forward to next year because we will be coming back!!!!"

  • Great location, beautiful property, every amenity

"June 2016. We loved this house and the location for my husband's birthday with friends/family. It's very private and the landscaping is remarkable - huge old trees and lots of beautiful flowers. There are two areas for outdoor dining (one covered and one uncovered) and the pool is large and well-maintained. The bedding is quite comfortable and there are plenty of linens and towels. We enjoyed "cooking in" a couple of dinners. The kitchen has everything you need and more... Also, it's important to note for summer visitors - the A/C works great! We were comfortable in every room. The property is very close to town, shopping, and great restaurants. We particularly enjoyed the Bistro and 208 Talbot. For more casual meals, the Tavern at the Inn on Perry Cove and the Crab Claw were fun. We discovered two nice groceries in town (although there may be more). The owners were quite helpful and responsive to our questions. They have provided for anything and everything you will need to enjoy your stay here. We look forward to another visit and highly recommend!"
