  • Girls Weekend

"We had such an amazing time at Last Resort Farm. We surprised my sister with a long weekend on the bay while I was in town. The house is amazing - I don't think there is a bad view of the bay from any area of the house. The weather we had was great, it even stormed one of the nights and there was an incredible show of lightning. The pool was perfectly refreshing when the days got warm, we even swam in the bay. The house was very accommodating - full bathrooms in each bedroom and an outdoor shower. The kitchen was very open and perfect for setting up our champagne brunch. The large screened in porch was perfect to hang out in at night and kept the mosquitoes at bay. The sound system was perfect. You can play music from almost every room of the house as well as outside. The rental agent, Ruta, was so helpful. She let us check in a little earlier than planned so we could set up some decorations to surprise my sister with. She also noticed the propane tank was low and left a replacement on the porch for us. It was a weekend to remember and my sister was so elated with her surprise I doubt we'll ever be able to top it. We had a great time at the house and would rent it again in a heartbeat"

  • Beautiful home, exceptional views!

"This home was the perfect location for our Girls Get Away Weekend! The house was immaculate upon arrival, fully equipped and provided plenty of activities to enjoy, including the hot tub, to kayaks, to cocktails out on he dock. St. Michaels is a very pretty town and fun to explore. But we really loved hanging at the house the most! The property management team were great to work with and quickly answered all of our questions. Book this house - you won't be disappointed!"

  • This Is The Place to Relax Comfortably

"We had a group of women here to celebrate a birthday. We wanted to hang out, relax, eat, drink, and sleep and were pleased with our choice to stay at Sandy Pines. The view is gorgeous and we were blessed with a warm fall weekend where we were able to sit by the water and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine for the evening sunset. The hammocks were great for an afternoon nap. The screened porch seats plenty and we enjoyed sitting there with a blanket in the evening. It is a nice, shaded, private lot. I am sure the pool is wonderful in the summer and the mature trees provide lots of shade. We did not use the bikes but they looked like they would be good enough to check out the neighborhood streets, but probably not any distance riding. I believe there were 2 adult bikes and at least 2 children's bikes. If you want to ride into town, I would bring your own bikes. We used the owners kayaks/canoe along with our own blow up kayaks and had a nice tour on the water. We also went for nice walks and the wide shoulders provided us a safe place to walk on the local roads. An afternoon of checking out the shops in St Michael's was also fun. The kitchen is laid out somewhat awkwardly, but worked fine and is stocked with just about everything you need. Plenty of pots/pans, dishes, utensils, dish towels, glassware & wine glasses, and serving plates & bowls. Only thing clearly lacking are containers for stowing leftovers. Overall, if you are putting together a meal for a large group, you will be happy with the kitchen supplies. The beds are comfortable, with all of the bedrooms roomy with space to stow your gear. Two of the bathrooms have been renovated and were a nice surprise. Being a fan of an outdoor shower, that would be a nice addition for summer stays. Cell service is in and out, as mentioned by others, but the wifi worked fine. We found the dryer seemed to take long to dry a load, but we advised the owner the vent may be clogged, so hopefully that would solve the problem. The owner was a pleasure to deal with from initial questions to booking and always responded promptly. I would definitely recommend this place to others and our group was already inventing excuses to come back another year."

  • Beautiful Historic home in a perfect location.

"This is an amazing home right on the harbor in the heart of St. michaels. It has been lovingly restored . We loved the beautiful antiques, wide plank flooring ,water views and tranquil setting. It's within easy walking distance of coffee shops, restaurants ,pubs and a wide variety of shops , antique, clothing, souvenir and even design stores. We were a multigenerational group and everyone was delighted with their stay. The only recommendation I would make is an upgrade on the bed linens and towels. They were perfectly clean and adequate but some fluffy new linens would elevate the home to truly 5 star The owner was responsive and addressed the few issues we had in a professional ,prompt and reasonable manner. I would highly recommend this home ."
