  • Beautiful property for a weekend with friends!

"We rented this beautiful property for Memorial Day Weekend 2015. It was great for our group, which included a number of couples, some with children, some without. The layout allowed us to put the families on one side of the house, while those of us without kids slept on the other to avoid getting woken up in the morning! The kids in particular loved the beach and the huge yard."

  • Perfect!

"We chose to come to Maryland from Ohio on a whim for an elopement. We wanted a quiet and beautiful place on the bay and we lucked out finding this gem! We stayed in the Jelly Fish House, it is brand new and gorgeous, just what you would imagine for a beach house. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the dock and in the hammock looking at the beautiful views and sunsets. My three boys had a ball fishing, jumping in the water from the dock and catching blue crabs-we had never seen those before!! We definitely had three teary-eyed boys when it was time to leave. We had a magical weekend! We wouldn't have changed a thing and would love to come back. Jacque and Patrick were fantastic!"

  • Fantastic Stay during USNA Grad Week

"This lovely house and property were overwhelmingly approved by all parties who attended our gatherings during 2016 Naval Academy graduation week. We stayed for 5 days and the house accommodated between 5 and 10 people quite comfortably on various nights. Owners Kendyl and Scott were very gracious and accommodating. . The house is a 150' walk to lovely views of the Chesapeake and Bay Bridge and there's even a small beach head where you can relax in chairs provided by the owners. The property itself is uniquely decorated and very warm and cozy. They offered us basically anything we needed. On our grad party night, we had a gathering in the yard of about 18 people comfortably. We loved the coy fish pond and the owners art work and globe collection.. All in all, a wonderful house in a wonderful location. We'd highly recommend it for a getaway or for smaller gatherings during Commissioning Week. Scott and Kendall couldn't be more accommodating."

  • Relax, rejuvenate....

"The Roost is the PERFECT family getaway. The cottage is comfortable, located on a quiet street, well equipped, absolutely delightful! We couldn't have been happier when we opened the door! Felt like home! Luisa was extremely accommodating! As much as we enjoyed the layout of the home...we enjoyed the outdoor area also. Everyone enjoyed the marina (right across the street) and just sitting in the backyard in the adirondack chairs or the hammock, watching the wildlife (lots of bunnies and deer) . We visited the Maritime Museum and took a sunset cruise on the Skipjack with Capt. Wade (must do!) ....don't miss the ice cream at The Tilghman Island General Store. Walking distance to the restaurants also! Enjoyed the Farmers Market in St. Michaels on Saturday morning and found everything needed to cook with in the well-equipped kitchen! We felt blessed to be able to stay at "The Roost" Patty"
